People in Paris Voice Support at Rally Calling for End to 27-Year Persecution of Falun Gong

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held a rally at Place André-Tardieu Square in the 7th arrondissement of Paris on July 12, 2026, and called on people to help end the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 27-year-long persecution.

“We Will Continue to Expose the Persecution”

Mr. Tang said, “As of today, July 12, 2026, there are 5,359 verified deaths of Falun Gong practitioners due to the CCP’s persecution. Because information is censored, the actual number is likely much higher.

“There are typically hundreds of thousands of people detained in detention centers and brainwashing centers [in China]. Falun Gong practitioners continue to be subjected to humiliation, physical violence, torture, and forced organ harvesting.

“We will continue to expose the persecution until all the perpetrators are brought to justice,” he said.

Harold King of DAFOH in Europe said, “We are here today for the rights of Falun Gong practitioners. They are persecuted for their faith. These practitioners are tortured, raped, and even murdered through torture directly or indirectly. In 2006, we discovered that the Chinese regime is killing Falun Gong practitioners through extracting their organs.

“The purpose of this action is to destroy practitioners and make them disappear from the face of the earth, so the world will no longer hear about Falun Gong. These are crimes against humanity. Through 20 years of research, we have collected five types of evidence that not only proves forced organ harvesting exists, but also shows the severity of these crimes.”

He urged people to sign the G7+7 petition on forced organ harvesting to help end the atrocities.

“Communism Is Harmful to Everyone”

Yann is a history teacher from Poland. He said Polish people lived under communist rule for 50 years and are fully aware of what communism is. He said, “Every person should have the right to freedom of speech and freedom of thought. Every person, no exception. Everyone has the right to do what they want to do and have their own thoughts.

“Communism is harmful to everyone. Communism deprived us of our rights. Communism wants to intervene in every aspect of our lives, including our private lives and work. Humanity’s basic right is to freely think and enjoy equality,” he said.

He wished Falun Gong practitioners all the best in this peaceful protest.

“I Am Strongly Against This Persecution”

Nina Kouznetsov, who is of Russian descent, worked in tourism and visited China. She said, “It’s truly scary that such things [forced organ harvesting] exist in the 21st century. This absolutely should not be happening in any country in the world, especially China, which is an ancient country. It’s truly a great pity that the Chinese regime is damaging all the ancient spiritual practices.”

Léa is a college student and is studying law. She said, “We cannot accept organ extractions. This is unacceptable! This is a form of genocide and nothing short of theft. This should not be happening.”

Paloma, an immunology researcher, said, “I don’t understand why these people [practitioners] are persecuted. I do not understand the significance of doing this and their [the CCP’s] underlying motives. I am strongly against this persecution.”
