(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 3 cities or counties in 2 provinces, where at least 3 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Jinling Sentenced
2. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fang Changhui Detained
3. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pan Haoqiu Detained
1. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Jinling Sentenced
Ms. Zhang Jinling was taken away at work by the Tengzhou City police on April 17, 2024. Six officers, three in police uniform and others in plainclothes, pried open her door around 8 a.m., and seized her printers and Falun Gong books. Minghui.org recently confirmed her three-year sentence and that she had been admitted to the Shunzheng Prison in Jinan City to serve time.
2. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Fang Changhui Detained
Ms. Fang Changhui of Shahe Town was arrested at home by four or five officers on the morning of January 21, 2025. She is being held in the Laizhou City Detention Center.
3. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pan Haoqiu Detained
Ms. Pan Haoqiu of Pingsan Village, Ping’ancheng Town, distributed Falun Gong flyers in the Ping’ancheng Town Street Market on January 13, 2025. Officers from the Ping’ancheng Police Station arrested her and confiscated all of her flyers. The police ransacked her home, seized a printer, more than 20 copies of Falun Gong books, many copies of Minghui Weekly and Zhengjian Weekly, printer ink, copy paper, players, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and other items. She was held in the Zunhua Detention Center and released on January 17, 2025.
