Assisting Master to Save Lives Is My Greatest Joy

(Minghui.org) I’m 70 years old and I’ve practiced Falun Dafa for 20 years. Under Master’s compassionate guidance and protection, my determination to cultivate and assist him in saving lives never wavered. I’m writing down some of my cultivation experiences to share with fellow practitioners.

Master Gave Me Wisdom

At 10:00 a.m. on May 25, 2015, another practitioner and I went to the express delivery center to mail a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader who initiated the persecution of Falun Dafa. A staff member looked at the address and said, “Our center has never sent mail to such a high-ranking authority [the Supreme Court]. Can’t the local authorities handle this? Do you have to go to such a high-ranking authority?” I did not tell them we planned to sue Jiang Zemin. I worried that they wouldn’t take my mail, so I told them it was about a murder case.

Another staff member said, “Just process it quickly.” My mail was processed, and I received the receipt the next day. I later realized that Master gave me wisdom when we talked to the staff. Master is always by my side. Thank you, Master!

Master Paved the Road for Me

Before my grandson was born in 2011, my son called and asked if I could come to his place to help take care of the baby. He lived in a different city.

I felt troubled, thinking, “The time for saving lives is very urgent. What should I do? I don’t know any practitioners there, and if I go, I won’t have a cultivation environment.” I didn’t want to go so I asked Master to help, “Master, I have more important things to do. I can’t help care for my grandson.”

About twelve minutes after I sent out this thought, my son called me, saying, “Mom, we talked about it. You don’t have to come. My wife will quit her job and take care of our son. She’ll find another job once our son starts kindergarten.”

Tears ran down my face, and I was filled with immense gratitude to Master. My daughter-in-law, who had a high-ranking position at a large company, offered to resign to take care of their son.

Through this incident, I personally experienced what Master said,

“Cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)

Master arranges everything for us if we firmly believe in him and the Fa. After my daughter-in-law resigned, my son’s previously modest salary unexpectedly increased several times over. His family was harmonious and happy, and I was able to continue clarifying the truth about the persecution to people.

Uphold Righteous Thoughts and Save Lives

During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the CCP increased its persecution of practitioners. I refused to be moved and I focused on letting people know about Dafa.

A practitioner and I arranged to go out together to clarify the truth, but when I went to her home she said she could not go. I was disappointed. At that time, we were very short of materials. I went home, and cut out two images from the Chinese New Year picture that had messages about the truth of Falun Dafa. I got some glue and I went out. I walked to a traffic light at a busy intersection, and posted one piece.

I walked to another intersection and noticed a billboard there. I spread the glue on the material. However, as soon as I put another piece of the material up, I saw a young man quickly walking towards me. I took the paper down, folded it, and put it in my pocket. By then, the young man was already next to me.

Only then did I see that he was a police officer. He looked at the billboard. I don’t know where I got the courage, but I asked him what he was looking for. He replied, “I saw you put something up.”

I silently asked Master for help. Then I replied with confidence, “What did I put up? Where is it?”

The officer said, “These are the CCP’s sensitive days. Don’t put things up randomly.” Then he left.

I sent righteous thoughts and I knew Master helped resolve this difficult situation. On the way back, I found another good spot and posted the material. I also talked to three people about Falun Dafa and the persecution.

I met an elderly man at a bus stop and asked him, “Should I call you brother or uncle? How old are you?” He told me that he was 78. I replied, “I should call you uncle then.”

Before I started talking, he asked, “Are you a Falun Dafa practitioner? The Communist Party pays us. Without the Communist Party, what would we eat? Why are you doing this? Many people talked to me about Falun Dafa, but I don’t want to listen.”

I responded calmly, “Uncle, don’t be angry. Please sit down and let’s chat. Good health and a good mood are more important than anything else, right? When I was young, my mother-in-law didn’t help me take care of my child. Afterwards, just looking at her made me angry. My ill mood made my health deteriorate, and I became sick. Later, I read Zhuan Falun and I understood that all the happy and unhappy things we encounter, and all the people who treat us well or badly, are the result of karma we accumulated in our past lives. But being in a bad mood can harm one’s health. I've stopped being angry at and resenting her since then. Now I’m very kind to her.”

I continued, “Look at those Communist Party officials. They embezzled so much money that they have nowhere to spend it. Small officials are ruthless, big officials are utterly corrupt—every one of them is corrupt. Ordinary people like us work tirelessly trying to pay off our mortgages. Heaven is eliminating the CCP. When we joined the Party we had to raise our fists and swear to give our lives to it. Whoever vowed to fight for it will be buried with it. I don’t want anything from you, I just want you to be safe.”

He listened quietly and nodded. I asked him, “What’s your name? I’ll help you quit the CCP and its organizations you joined, so that you’ll have a safe future.”

Master gave me wisdom and I talked to him for two hours. Finally, he said, “I understand now. I really understand.” I thanked Master from the bottom of my heart.

I saw a young man walking by a bus station. He was tall and looked energetic. I approached him and said, “Young man, you are very handsome. Where are you going?” He said he was walking home. I asked if he heard about quitting the CCP for a safe future. He had, and he told me his entire family were Party members, and they were all state officials.

I said, “Your family is fortunate, and you are blessed!” I continued, “The Communist Party is corrupt.” He argued that without the Communist Party, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

I responded, “We would be better off without the Communist Party. The Party is incompetent, and they rely solely on killing and plunder.” He said I was getting involved in politics.

I said, “Why would we old ladies get involved in politics? Our Master says that Dafa doesn’t get involved in politics. We’re saving people. Haven’t you heard that many prophets predicted disasters in the future? I, an old lady, just want you to survive the disasters that are coming. I’ve practiced Falun Dafa for many years. I’m in good health and I haven’t taken any medication for years. Jiang Zemin said he would eradicate Falun Dafa in three months. Many years have passed and now over 200,000 people have filed lawsuits against him. There’s never been anything like this in China’s history. If Falun Dafa wasn’t righteous, how could practitioners have persisted for all these years and resisted the persecution? Not only was it not defeated, but more and more people started practicing it, and Falun Dafa has spread to over 100 countries worldwide.”

He nodded as I talked. Before we knew it, we’d walked over half a mile. He said, “I’ve listened to you so much that I almost walked past my home.”

I reminded him, “I really want you to be safe. Can I help you quit the CCP and its organizations?” He was excited and nodded vigorously.

Over the years of cultivation, I’ve encountered all kinds of people and situations while clarifying the truth and helping people to quit the CCP. They are so numerous that I can’t list them all here. Everything I’ve done is with Master’s compassionate protection. Assisting Master to save people is my greatest joy. Thank you, Master, for giving me the most sacred title of “Falun Dafa practitioner of the Fa-rectification period.” The new universe is so vast. We must follow Master’s teaching and never slack off in our effort to save lives.
