(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in the Chatelet District in the heart of Paris on Saturday October 18, 2025. They introduced Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) to the public and raised awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 26-year-long persecution. People learned about the spiritual practice and signed a petition calling for an end to the CCP’s atrocities.

Practitioners participated in a health and organic food salon held in Nantes in western France last weekend, October 10 to 12. They introduced Falun Dafa and taught people the exercises, which was well received by the public.

“This Is Genocide and Must Stop”

Mohamed Ezzeddine, originally from Lebanon, was a chef in a Paris restaurant. He spoke with practitioners during the event in Chatelet. When he was told about the CCP’s persecution, he said he was sad that he’d only heard about it now and wanted to know more.

He said, “It’s truly sad to see the world today! All this persecution must stop and be condemned. Those responsible must be brought to justice. This is genocide and must stop!” He believes the media should report more on Falun Dafa and the persecution.

He said he thought Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance were universal values and elaborated, “Truthfulness means maintaining one’s true self. Compassion is most important. Forbearance means having hope in God. Ultimately, the truth will be revealed, and the great judgment will come.”

The Core Values Are the Foundation of Civilization

Grace, a media professional, was shocked to learn that Falun Dafa practitioners in China, who follow Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, are being persecuted and even subjected to state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. She found it distubing that Western media haven’t reported on this. She said, “This communist regime is truly problematic. They claim to be humanitarians, yet they want to annihilate humanity.”

Grace said the core values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance closely resemble Christian ideals: “The path of truth is life. Goodness, beauty, and truth are inseparable. We must pursue sincerity and kindness within the truth. Patience is a virtue that fosters harmonious coexistence with others, enabling us to establish good relationships with ourselves and others. So these values are interconnected. In any case, this is a struggle to protect your traditional culture, because it is the foundation of your civilization, coexisting harmoniously with its origins.”

People Condemn the Persecution

Aya, a graduate student in public engineering, and her father Taoufik talked with practitioners. Aya said that practicing Falun Dafa didn’t harm anyone, so she could not understand why it was being persecuted. She said that belief is a personal matter.

Taoufik commented that China is an ancient country with over 5,000 years of civilization and averred that we should not allow a practice or a civilization to disappear. The political authorities should treat Falun Dafa correctly and not persecute it. He added, “We are not opposed to any spiritual or religious practice. On the contrary, we hope to participate and understand, because we are all human beings.”

Falun Dafa Welcomed at the Health and Organic Food Salon

The Health and Organic Food Salon (SALON Zen et Bio) was held in Nantes, France, from October 10 to 12. This was the third time practitioners participated in this event.

During the three-day exhibition, the organizers gave Falun Dafa practitioners an hour and a half each day to teach visitors the exercises. This activity proved to be very popular. Some who tried the exercises said they felt very comfortable while they did them, while others said they felt energy. Many people asked for information about Falun Dafa and the address of the practice site in Nantes, saying they would try to go.
