My Life Has Been Extended by Master

(Minghui.org) I am 81 years old, and started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. I used to suffer from sciatica, chronic laryngitis, back pain, and more. I had been on medicines for many years. Not long after I started practicing Falun Dafa I recovered from all my illnesses. My life was extended by Master.

Looking back on my 26 years of cultivation, I have gone through many tribulations. Given Master’s protection I have survived them safely. I sincerely thank Master for giving me the opportunity to become a Dafa practitioner. Below I recount just a few examples of Master’s presence at my side and the miraculous things I’ve experienced.

Broken Hot Water Pipe

One winter night in 2015, at around 1 a.m., I was woken up from a deep sleep, feeling extremely hot and sweating profusely. I got up to find some water to drink and to wipe the sweat off me. I discovered that the hot water pipe in the bathroom was broken and hot water was spraying out. The gas hot water heater in the kitchen was burning loudly. I was so frightened that I immediately turned off the main water supply. If it had not been for Master’s protection, the consequences could have been disastrous.

Dry Despite the Heavy Rain

I was riding an electric bicycle with my wife to meet other practitioners on August 28, 2018. It started to rain heavily as we started crossing a long bridge. When we reached the end, we hid from the rain under the bridge. While standing there we both saw that our hair, clothes, and shoes were dry. But looking at other people who were also hiding from the rain, we noticed that their hair and clothes were wet.

Landing Safely After Falling Down Stairs

I live on the second floor, and there are 10 steps from the first floor going up to the second floor. I was carrying a dustpan downstairs to take out the garbage. I had only walked down two steps when I slipped and fell down the stairs. My mind went blank. It was as if I was flying inside clouds and in a balloon. I reached the bottom of the stairs, and found only a small scratch on my left shoulder. I am an old man in my 80’s who fell down a flight of stairs, but had only a small scratch on the shoulder.

Overcoming Severe Physical Symptoms with Firm Faith

I was sitting on the bed meditating on the morning of December 31, 2021, when suddenly, I saw my body covered by black smoke. My back felt very painful, so I recited the two phrases “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and “Falun Dafa is good.” I passed out from the pain. When I came to, I was in the intensive care unit of a hospital. The doctor said that I passed out due to a rupture in the cardiovascular system. He also said that no one in this situation would survive, and asked my family to be mentally prepared for the worst. My mind was not moved! I kept reciting “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, Falun Dafa is good,” and I also kept reciting On Dafa.

After I was transferred to the general ward, I wanted to go home, but I was unable to move because of the tubes inserted everywhere in my body! I went home 10 days later, which was a miracle! After returning home, I studied the Fa, did the exercises, and sent righteous thoughts. After two months, I went to the hospital for a follow-up examination, and there was no trace of a rupture in the cardiovascular system.
