(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Xuehui and Ms. Su Aiqin Arrested
3. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Heqiong Arrested
4. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lin Shuqin Detained
5. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Pingtong Completed Prison Term
6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Cuiying and Others Harassed
7. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Yungu Arrested
8. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Zhiqiao Monitored and Followed by the Police
9. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wen Fenhua and Mr. Yang Yingpeng Detained
1. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Luo Suya Detained
Ms. Luo Suya, 61, was arrested at home by officers from Huizhou City on the morning of July 30, 2024. They ransacked her home, seized a copy of Zhuan Falun, a music player, and over 100 yuan in paper currency printed with Falun Gong messages. She is currently held in the Chengdong Detention Center.
2. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Xuehui and Ms. Su Aiqin Arrested
Mr. Li Xuehui and Ms. Su Aiqin, of Zhujia Village, Tangjia Township, Dawa County, were arrested for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong near the Dawa County High School. Their whereabouts are unknown.
3. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Heqiong Arrested
Ms. Chen Heqiong, in her 60s, an employee of Renhe District Silk Company, was arrested in late July 2024. Details about her case are unknown.
4. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lin Shuqin Detained
Ms. Lin Shuqin of Jixian County was arrested by Jianshan District police when she was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong near Jialegou supermarket on July 20, 2024. She was detained for 10 days.
5. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Pingtong Completed Prison Term
Ms. Liu Pingtong was sentenced to 18 months in prison on February 3, 2023. She completed the prison term and has been released.
6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Cuiying and Others Harassed
Ms. Li Cuiying and Ms. Zhao Xiuying, of Xijie Village, Ciyutuo Town, Luanzhou City, were harassed at home by officer Ouyang Zhancun and others from the Ciyutuo Town Police Station on the morning of August 1, 2024. Afterward, the officers went to Zhongjie Village and harassed Mr. Li Muhua, Mr. Li Shunmin, and Ms. Li Lanzhi. They also ordered the practitioners to sign guarantee statements to renounce Falun Gong.
7. [Bin County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Yungu Arrested
Ms. Zhao Yungu was arrested by Bin County Police Department officers on July 31, 2023. Her home was ransacked. She was released on bail and is not allowed to travel out of town.
8. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Zhiqiao Monitored and Followed by the Police
Mr. Wang Zhiqiao was monitored and stalked by Changping District Qiliqu Police Station officers between July 16 and 18, 2024. They staked out his apartment’s corridor and entrance and followed him when he went out.
9. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wen Fenhua and Mr. Yang Yingpeng Detained
Ms. Wen Fenhua and her husband, Mr. Yang Yingpeng, of Mianhu Town, Jiexi County, were arrested by Mianhu Town Police Station officers on July 25, 2024. Ms. Wen is being held in the Jiedong Detention Center, while Mr. Yang is in the Jiexi Detention Center.
