(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 32 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Pingyuan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Min Xiangxian Arrested and Detained
2. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Six Practitioners Arrested and Detained
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wei Xiaoli Arrested and Detained
4. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Li Placed under Official Arrest
5. [Chongqing] Mr. Zou Bin and Ms. Lou Ping Arrested and Detained
6. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Hou Xiuying Detained
7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested and Detained
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jin Cuihua Arrested and Detained
9. [Hailun City, Heilongjiang Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested
10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiao Yingxue Arrested and Detained
1. [Pingyuan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Min Xiangxian Arrested and Detained
Ms. Min Xiangxian from Yaozhan Town was reported to police for putting up stickers bearing information about Falun Gong, and was arrested by officers from the Yaozhan Town Police Station on June 1, 2024. Her home was ransacked. Her Falun Gong books and truth clarifying materials were confiscated. Ms. Min was taken to the Dezhou Detention Center on June 2, 2024.
2. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Six Practitioners Arrested and Detained
Several practitioners, including Ms. He Guihong, Mr. Zhang Weiqing, Ms. Cheng Weiping, and Ms. Chen Xinchun, were arrested on April 23, 2024. The four practitioners are still being held in a detention center.
Mr. Zhang Jian and Mr. Wu Zonglun, both from Xian’an District, have been detained.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wei Xiaoli Arrested and Detained
Ms. Wei Xiaoli was arrested at home in Yajuleyuan Community by Yingkou City police on the evening of June 6, 2024. She is currently detained in Yingkou City.
4. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Li Placed under Official Arrest
Ms. Li Li has been placed under official arrest.
5. [Chongqing] Mr. Zou Bin and Ms. Lou Ping Arrested and Detained
Mr. Zou Bin from the Nan’an District has not been heard from for more than 20 days. It was learned that Mr. Zou was arrested on May 22, 2024. He is currently detained in the Nan’an District Detention Center.
Ms. Lou Ping was recently arrested and detained in a police station. Her home was ransacked.
6. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Hou Xiuying Detained
Ms. Hou Xiuying was arrested by officers from the Jiaqi Road Police Station in Yi County on March 1, 2024. She was held for 15 days in the Yi County Detention Center and was then transferred to the Hantai District Detention Center. She is still detained there.
7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested and Detained
Mr. Huo Jianguo from Zhaogezhang of Guye District was arrested and detained for 15 days.
Mr. Fei Shiqing from Guye District was arrested and detained for 10 days in the Guye District Detention House.
Mr. Ma Yingjie from Lujiatuo was arrested. His home was ransacked.
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jin Cuihua Arrested and Detained
Ms. Jin Cuihua from Qingshan District was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong and was arrested by officers from the Ganghua Police Station on May 15, 2024. She was detained in the No. 1 Detention Center of Xihu City and was released on May 26, 2024.
9. [Hailun City, Heilongjiang Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested
Many practitioners were arrested during a group arrest in Hailun City on May 11, 2024. The names of eight of them were: Li Fengqing, Ding Jinzhi, Xu Xiaoguang, Fu Jinling, Liu Shuling, Tong Guoqin, Guo Liying and Li Mingbo. Li Fengqing and Ding Jinzhi were taken to Suihua City after they were arrested. Their current situation is unknown. The other six practitioners have been released.
It was learned that seven practitioners were harassed by police. They are Ms. Qu, Li Yaqin, Yan, Li Shujie, Wang Yaru, Yuan, and Cao.
10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiao Yingxue Arrested and Detained
Ms. Xiao Yingxue was arrested on June 7, 2024. She was placed under 15-day detention and sent to the Dongxihu District Detention House. She is due to be released on June 22, 2024.
