(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 31 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiao Yingxue Arrested
2. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Xiuhua and Ms. Sun Haizhu Arrested and Detained
3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
4. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Suqin’s Home Ransacked
5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Haiying Arrested
6. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Li Arrested and Detained
7. [Chongqing] Mr. Yang Zuolin Arrested and Ms. Chen Changying Harassed
8. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Eleven Practitioners Arrested
9. [Chongqing] Ms. Chen Changying’s Home Ransacked
10. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Zhang Jian Arrested and Detained

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiao Yingxue Arrested
Ms. Xiao Yingxue was arrested downstairs at her home by officers from the Hanjiadun Police Station on June 7, 2024. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated.
2. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Xiuhua and Ms. Sun Haizhu Arrested and Detained
Ms. Yang Xiuhua from the Fulaerji District was arrested by officers from the Hong’an Police Station at Mr. Feng Zimin’s home on April 26, 2024. She was detained for 7 days.
Ms. Yang was recently arrested again and detained in the Qiqihar City Detention Center. Her home was ransacked. Her laptop computer, Falun Gong books and media players were confiscated.
Ms. Sun Haizhu was previously detained for 30 days, but was released on bail pending trial for one year.
3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
Multiple practitioners in Guye District were arrested and their homes were ransacked on June 6, 2024. The seven practitioners are Zhang Tielai, Ma Yingjie, Huo Jianguo, Ms. Ma Yanhong and her husband, and Mr. Tian and his wife. Zhang Tielai was released that evening.
Ms. Liu Wenhui from Banbidian Village of Kaiping District was harassed at home by village official Wang Laixi and police officers, including Zhao Benxi from the Kaiping Police Station, on the morning of June 6, 2024. They ransacked her home and confiscated an entire set of Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, a computer, printer and two cell phones.
4. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Suqin’s Home Ransacked
Ms. Lu Suqin was harassed at home in Houdouhe Village by two officers from the Shuangqiao Police Station in Kaiping District on June 4, 2024. They videotaped all around her home.
Several officers from the Kaiping District Police Department, led by the village official, went to Ms. Lu’s home on the morning of June 6, 2024. They confiscated her Falun Gong books.
5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Haiying Arrested
Ms. Zhang Haiying from Kaiping District was taken to the Yuehe Police Station by local community staff members and local police officers on June 6, 2024. Those people ransacked Ms. Zhang’s home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, truth clarifying materials, and other items. Ms. Zhang was interrogated in the police station while being videotaped. She was later released.
6. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Li Arrested and Detained
Ms. Li Li from the Yunhe District was arrested at home by officers, including Li Yi from the Yunhe District Police Department, on the early morning of April 17, 2024. She was detained and placed under official arrest on May 22, 2024.
7. [Chongqing] Mr. Yang Zuolin Arrested and Ms. Chen Changying Harassed
Mr. Yang Zuolin from Xinpaifang of Yubei District was arrested at home on April 30, 2024.
Ms. Chen Changying from Yubei West District was harassed at home by local community staff members and local police officers in mid-March, 2024. They ransacked her home and confiscated more than 20 Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder.
8. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Eleven Practitioners Arrested
Four practitioners, Ms. Xie, Ms. Zhao Shuhua, Wang Zhilan, and Ms. Zhang Zhongying, were arrested on June 5, 2024. Ms. Zhang Zhongying was taken to an unknown location. The other three practitioners are detained in Nanshan, Shulan City.
Ms. Chen Yuhui was arrested at 6 p.m. on June 5, 2024. Her home was ransacked. She was placed under 15-day detention.
Four practitioners, Li Bairong, Zhu Yujun, Li Xiuling and Ms. Guo Qingfen, were arrested and taken to a police station on the morning of June 5, 2024. Except for Zhu Yujun, the other three were released the next day. Zhu Yujun’s situation is unknown.
Xu Xiaolan and Han Zhen were arrested on June 5, 2024. Han Zhen was released on the morning of June 6, 2024.
9. [Chongqing] Ms. Chen Changying’s Home Ransacked
Ms. Chen Changying’s home was ransacked recently.
10. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Zhang Jian Arrested and Detained
Zhang Jian from Zhifu District was arrested by officers from the Baishi Road Police Station and officers from Shanxi Province on May 9, 2024. Zhang was detained in the Zhifu District Detention Center and was released on June 3, 2024.
11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Han Chunming Arrested and Detained
Ms. Han Chunming, from Xinzhaizi Sub-district of Ganjingzi District, was reported to police for distributing the truth-clarifying materials in local village, and was arrested recently. She was placed under 15-day detention and is held in the Xinzhaizi Police Station.
