France: Falun Dafa Warmly Received at Health Expo

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to participate in the Health and Organic Lifestyle Expo held in Saint-Brévin-les-Pins, France from May 18, 2024 to May 19, 2024. Saint-Brévin-les-Pins is a coastal resort in western France, where the river Loir enters the Atlantic Ocean.

The expo showcases ways to improve one’s physical and mental health. Many people came to this two day event, and although some knew about Qi Gong practices, most knew little about Falun Dafa. People were quickly drawn to Falun Dafa. Some bought Falun Dafa books Zhuan Falun and The Great Way of Spiritual Perfection.

Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to participate in the Health and Organic Lifestyle Expo held in Saint-Brévin-les-Pins May 18 and 19.

Falun Dafa was warmly received at the expo. People asked for informational leaflets and where the nearest practice site was.

Five people who learned the exercises there said that their palms felt warm, electric and numb while they did the exercises and their bodies and minds felt relaxed and comfortable. They were surprised and happy about the instant positive effect brought about by the practice. All five bought a copy of Zhuan Falun.

Marie-Françoise, 72 years old, said she felt that she “gained freedom” when she did the exercises. She said that she eagerly wanted to learn the practice seriously and was looking forward to reading Zhuan Falun.

A young woman said that she was under a lot of pressure and was looking for a cultivation method that can bring peace to her and her 13-year-old son. She was surprised and very happy to know that she can learn Falun Dafa for free. She asked for some leaflets and wrote down the practitioners’ contact info.

Local residents were very happy to learn about Falun Dafa.

Catherine said that she visited all the booths. But in the end, she directly came to the Falun Dafa booth. She said that she was attracted to the expo because of that reason, and she believed that she was guided there. She said that she found what her heart desires here and she decided to begin to cultivate.

Kouka, 42 years old, was very happy to meet practitioners. She was interested in practicing and reading Zhuan Falun after a practitioner explained Falun Dafa to her in detail and said that the teachings of Falun Dafa may answer her various questions about life. She bought a copy of Zhuan Falun. She said that she could feel the positive energy as the practitioner talked to her. She couldn’t wait to get the contact information and she said she wanted to learn the practice.

A woman in her 40s said that many people are searching for spiritual sustenance after the outbreak of the pandemic. She was particularly pleased to discover Falun Dafa.

Some people had heard about Falun Dafa before: “Yes, I know, they are being persecuted in China and even subjected to forced organ harvesting.” “What the Chinese government does is really outrageous.”

Many people stopped at the Falun Dafa booth to learn about the practice.

Many people, including children, left the booth holding paper lotus flowers after getting information about Falun Dafa. They seemed really touched when they accepted the flowers from practitioners. One woman said with emotion, “I’m really moved. This is the most precious gift that I have ever received. It touched me deeply. I can feel a strong force in my heart.” Tears came to her eyes as she spoke.

While learning about Falun Dafa, people also learned about the persecution of practitioners in China. They condemned the persecution. One woman said that she didn’t want to hear about persecution, as she came here to search for comfort. But she later returned and wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa, and asked for the address of a practice site.

After this two day event, practitioners who participated in the expo felt that the activity was really rich and beneficial.
