(Minghui.org) To honor World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, 2024, the City of Kingston, the City of Belleville, and the City of Quinte West in central Ontario, Canada proclaimed Falun Dafa Day and Falun Dafa Week and praised the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The City of Kingston has honored Falun Dafa Day for 17 consecutive years.

The proclamation reads, “Falun Dafa is an advanced cultivation practice system for mind, body, and spirit based on the principle of Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance.
“Falun Dafa was first introduced to the world in 1992 by Mr. Li Hongzhi and has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to improving health in mind body and spirit, and to enhancing the well-being of people from all walks of society, who follow its tenets.
“The physical and spiritual benefits of Falun Dafa have led to its spread throughout 114 countries with over 100 million practitioners.
“The great compassion and forbearance demonstrated by Falun Dafa practitioners have touched the hearts of kind-hearted people all over the world.
“Falun Dafa practitioners in the community across Canada celebratedFalun Dafa Day on May 13th.
“Therefore, I, Mayor Bryan Paterson, on behalf of Kingston City Council, herebyproclaim May 13, 2024 as “Falun Dafa Day” in the City of Kingston, honouringTruthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance.”

The proclamation reads, “Also known as Falun Gong, this advanced cultivation practice system was introduced in 1992 and is based on the principle of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. It has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to improving health in mind, body, and spirit, enhancing the well-being of all those who follow its tenets.
“Though Falun Dafa has spread throughout 114 countries with over 100 million practitioners, this year marks the 24th year of peaceful appeals and worldwide efforts of ending the Communist Regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China.
