(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 35 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Linfen City, Shanxi Province] The Case Against Mr. Liu Jinsheng Submitted to the Court
2. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
3. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested
4. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Xiucheng and His Family Arrested
6. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yuan Yinying and Ms. Lin Xuejun Arrested
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Youxian Arrested and Detained
8. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xiaohui Arrested
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yun Qingbin Arrested
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Niu Xiaona Arrested and Detained

1. [Linfen City, Shanxi Province] The Case Against Mr. Liu Jinsheng Submitted to the Court
Mr. Liu Jinsheng works for the Anze County Power Company. He was previously subjected to two years of forced labor. Mr. Liu was arrested in July 2023. His case was submitted to the Huozhou City Procuratorate on January 17, 2024, and then to the Huozhou City Court on April 18, 2024.
2. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Five practitioners, Ms. Qu Xiaofei, Ms. Liu Xiaoyan, Ms. Sun Jingna, Mr. Xu Deming, and Ms. Luo Xizhen, were arrested on March 1, 2024. They were placed under official arrest around April 20, 2024.
3. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested
Eight practitioners were arrested by twelve officers on the afternoon of May 8, 2024. They are Ms. Liu Peipei, Ms. Zhu Xinfang, Ms. Wu Jiujiu, Ms. Wu Xiuzhi, Ms. Wu’s parents and Zhang [gender unknown]. Their homes were ransacked. Ms. Liu Peipei, Ms. Zhu Xinfang, and Ms. Wu Jiujiu were released on bail pending trial by the Anju District Police Department on May 9, 2024. The other five practitioners’ situations are unknown.
4. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
Seven practitioners were arrested by officers from the Qianjin District Police Department on the morning of May 11, 2024. They are Ms. Li Yingxuan, Ms. Wang Li, Ms. Zhu Yuzhi, Ms. Sun Huixin, Mr. Tian Guoyou and his son. Mr. Wang Huaxue from Jianping County was also arrested at the same time.
5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Xiucheng and His Family Members Arrested
Mr. Sun Xiucheng from Zhifu District was recently arrested by officers from the Shihuiyao Police Station. His home was ransacked. His daughter and son-in-law were also arrested in Laiyang City, and have been released. Mr. Sun is detained in the Huangwu Town Police Station in the Zhifu District.
6. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yuan Yinying and Ms. Lin Xuejun Arrested
Ms. Yuan Yinying and Ms. Lin Xuejun were recently arrested at Ms. Lin’s home by officers in the Rongcheng District. Their homes were ransacked.
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Youxian Arrested and Detained
Ms. Li Youxian, 60, was tricked into going to the Xiangkou Street Police Station in the Hannan District on April 9, 2024. When she arrived there she was arrested. Her home was ransacked. Ms. Li is currently held in a detention center.
8. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xiaohui Arrested
Ms. Wang Xiaohui, 68, works in Changchun City. She was arrested by officers from the Heshun Street Police Station in Erdao District on May 10, 2024. Ms. Wang is currently detained at the Changchun City Control Center.
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yun Qingbin Arrested
Mr. Yun Qingbin, around 70, was arrested by officers from the Heshun Street Police Station in Erdao District on May 10, 2024.
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Niu Xiaona Arrested and Detained
Ms. Niu Xiaona was arrested at her rented apartment by officers from the Harbin Railway Police Department on March 19, 2024. She is held in the Second Detention Center of Harbin City.
11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Huan Abused in Detention Center
Ms. Wang Huan from Liaozhong District has been abused since she was taken to the First Detention Center of Shenyang City on March 29, 2024. After Ms. Wang refused to wear the prisoner uniform, she was subjected to the “strait jacket” torture that makes it difficult to breathe normally, and she has been wearing it for days. Ms. Wang also has to wear handcuffs 24 hours a day. She had a stomachache and wanted to do the Falun Gong exercises but the guard stopped her.
12. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Ruifeng Arrested and Detained
Ms. Zhang Ruifeng from the Nanhu Campus was arrested by officers from the Ziyou Street Police Station on April 29, 2024. She is still detained.
13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Han Xiaolian and Ms. Su Yan Arrested
When Ms. Han Xiaolian from the Jiutai District stepped out of her home, she was arrested by officers in the Jiutai District at noon on April 17, 2024. She is currently detained in the Xinglongshan Detention Center.
Ms. Su Yan from the Luyuan District was arrested at her home by officers from the Dongsheng Police Station on the morning of May 10, 2024.
14. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Qingyan Arrested and Detained
Ms. Xu Qingyan was arrested on April 14, 2024. She went on a hunger strike in the Jinzhou City Detention Center and was seen being carried out of the detention center on April 30, 2024. However, she was later sent back to the detention center.
It was said that she was allowed to be bailed out for medical treatment 10 days ago but she is still detained.
