(Minghui.org) While my observations may not apply to everyone, I’ve noticed some practitioners often do not behave in line with the Fa. They seemed to be overly concerned about their own mighty virtue, doing things for the sake of accumulating mighty virtue. Some are even reluctant to help other practitioners because they worry about who will get the mighty virtue. Don’t we, as cultivators, strive to “attain the righteous Enlightenment of selflessness and altruism” (“Non-Omission in Buddha-Nature,” Essentials for Further Advancement)?

Some practitioners are reluctant to take inexperienced practitioners along while clarifying the truth about Dafa, fearing that they’d be sharing their mighty virtue. Another practitioner and I, who had no experience, followed two experienced practitioners to learn how to approach and speak to people and to send forth righteous thoughts for them. But days later, one experienced practitioner expressed her dislike of talking to fewer people than before, while the other solemnly declared that whenever anyone quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) it was because she had saved them and had nothing to do with us.

Yet, when experienced practitioners mentor the less experienced ones by demonstrating how to strike up a conversation, how to get to the point, and how to follow people’s concerns to speak accordingly, they reap abundant mighty virtue!

An article on Minghui.org told about two practitioners, Tong and Yan. Tong went to talk to people about Dafa in the community where Yan lived, which upset Yan. Yan believed that Master had arranged for her to save the people in that community, so she criticized Tong for doing her share and taking away her mighty virtue. No matter which practitioner does the talking, isn’t it Master who truly saves people? What was there to argue about?

One practitioner told me her experience. She and two other practitioners went out to distribute Dafa truth clarification materials. After she finished her share and saw that there were still materials left, she handed them out as well. However, the other two practitioners got angry at her, asked her why she would do that, and criticized her for validating herself and taking away their mighty virtue.

Once, several practitioners refused to participate in a project because they said their mighty virtue would all go to the organizer, jeopardizing the project.

Another time, a practitioner got into an argument with another practitioner. She declared that she would no longer help her upload the names of people who quit the CCP. She used her ability as leverage to fight others, sabotaging the sacred task of saving people. Who would be happy with her behavior? This practitioner should rectify herself.

At the end of 2023, I helped several practitioners organize their sharing articles. Since no individual article was good enough to stand on its own, I combined them into two articles and submitted them. One of them was published in Minghui Weekly. Later, one practitioner asked me who was listed as the author of the article. “By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China,” I told her. Then I asked, “Does it matter that it was counted as yours, mine, or both of us? Wasn’t the article written to validate Dafa?” I realized that she was only concerned about who might get the mighty virtue from the article.

As practitioners, we are one body, shouldering the responsibility of assisting Master in the salvation of sentient beings. Our mighty virtue naturally accrues when we cooperate with and help each other, with Master and gods by our sides. Being overly concerned with, competing for, or being unwilling to share mighty virtue is an attachment to abolish, just like selfishness, jealousy, and pursuits.
