(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Germany held a week-long Art of Zhen Shan Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) International Exhibition at Hofgartensaal der Fürstäbtlichen Residenz in Kempten, Germany beginning March 10, 2024.
Forty-six paintings displayed the beauty of Falun Dafa and practitioners’ magnificent feat in unyielding during the cruel persecution committed by the Chinese Community Party (CCP), and persevering in their faith. Many visitors were amazed when looking at the paintings, and recommended the exhibition to their families and friends. Some visitors were moved to tears.
Guests from political, business, and culture circles were invited to participate in the opening ceremony of The Art of Zhen Shan Ren International Exhibition.

Kempten, situated at the northern foot of the Alps, is one of the oldest cities in Germany. It is the political, administrative, and business center in the Allgäu. The origin of Fürstäbtliche Residenz where the exhibition was held dates back to a monastery in 750. The hall covers an area of 450 square meters and appears more broad under its European vault. The paintings were displayed on white walls and filled the hall with an atmosphere of solemnity, dignified and calm.
The Allgäu is called Allgovia and is located in a region of Swabia in Southern Germany.
The local newspaper, Die Allgäuer Zeitung, reported on the upcoming exhibition in its March 6 special edition. Guests from political, business, and cultural circles participated in the exhibition’s opening ceremony on March 9, 2024.
Visitors Touched: “The perfect combination of arts and its implication”
Many people found the drawings deeply appealing. One visitor came to see the exhibition three times. Some recommended the exhibition to their families and friends. The guestbook was filled with favorable comments, such as “A heart shaking exhibition -- awe-inspiring paintings.”
This young couple thanks practitioners for explaining the paintings to them. They praised the exhibition as the perfect combination of arts and hidden meaning.
Practitioners explained the stories behind each painting to the visitors. After listening to the explanation, a young couple noted in the guest book, “This is an unforgettable exhibition. It achieved the perfect combination of arts and hidden meaning in a way that I have never been exposed to before! I thank you from the bottom of my heart that you explained the paintings to me deeply in simple terms. That opened my mind.”
Ms. Elisabeth Schenk visited the exhibition multiple times and stayed for a long time. Ms. Manuel Bühler and Ms. Elfriede Hörmann from Kempten listened earnestly and attentively to practitioners explaining the stories behind each painting. Ms. Hörmann said that after visiting the exhibition, “I feel that I gained very good energy.”
Josefine, 6 years old, took a photo standing beside her favorite painting. She felt that the great angel was unbelievably beautiful.
The young lady in the photo wrote in the guestbook: “The exhibition is very beautiful. The connotation of the paintings are displayed in meticulous detail, enabling people to understand Falun Dafa and Chinese history.”
People See the Persecution from the CCP in the Exhibition
After looking at the painting “A Tragedy in China,” a young woman said to a practitioner, “It is such an unbelievable tragedy that such a thing [as the persecution and torture of practitioners] exists in the world!”
This young woman took a photo with her favorite painting, Illumination. She said that the details of the painting were fascinating.
She observed the painting carefully. She said that every detail works in concert and bring up the main subject, from which she saw the painter’s superior skills. “It’s like a photo,” she said, about Illumination being her favorite painting, “because every detail depicted in this painting attracted me.” She said, “I can spend several hours without leaving to appreciate this painting.”
Touched by the Paintings, People Purchase Zhuan Falun
Ursula and Anton from Kempten
Ursula and Anton, a married couple from Kempten, carefully looked at each painting, and appreciated each paint stroke while listening to practitioners explain the paintings.
Beginning with the first painting, Anton began to appreciate what he saw, and couldn’t help but shed tears. He said that he was most touched by the Dislodged painting. The painting depicts the story of a young girl who was forced to leave home and move from place to place in order to avoid the persecution. The girl fell asleep from fatigue while moving around and was holding Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa, tightly to her chest. An angel came to her side while she was sleeping.
Anton was very interested in Falun Dafa when he finished watching the exhibition, and he bought the book Zhuan Falun.
Gabriel Kamerla bought the book Zhuan Falun after viewing the exhibition.
Gabriel Kamerla told a practitioner while visiting the paintings that he had not heard of Falun Dafa, but had been searching for a path to guide him. After listening to practitioners explain the paintings, he also bought the book Zhuan Falun and said that he wanted to visit the exhibition again.
