Harmful Human Notions and Their Danger

(Minghui.org) After reading the recent article on Minghui “Practitioners in China, Please Do Not Participate in Overseas Phone Calling Projects,” I reflected on some abnormal phenomena and trends in my area. By following them unwittingly, I’ve realized that some practitioners and I have been heading into traps; our careless words and actions showed that we have deviated from the Fa, because we have rationalized using our human notions.

One phenomenon is that some practitioners feel good about themselves, thinking their enlightenment has exceeded the direction of Minghui. Most of the materials for our truth-clarification projects come from Minghui. Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa) has emphasized the importance of Minghui’s direction on major issues. But some practitioners selectively agreed with some parts and criticized others. Certain topics and technical details cannot be spelled out in too much detail on Minghui or the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) might cause damage. Some thus did things carelessly, claiming that Minghui hadn’t addressed the issue yet.

These activities include the overseas phone calling projects in China and studying the Falun Dafa teachings together through online chat groups, both of which were mentioned in the article. Some played privately-recorded Shen Yun performances in chat groups, and noises from the microphone could be heard clearly. This violated Shen Yun’s copyright and damaged the sacredness of Shen Yun performances. Some spread hearsay in chat groups while predicting the progress of Fa-rectification. By doing so, they deviated from Master’s requirement for us practitioners in China on safety measures. As our human attachments arose, some had strong feelings of self-righteousness and began to resist Minghui. Such dreadful human attachments are early stages of “demonic interference from one’s own mind” or actions that undermine Dafa. This ruins their own cultivation, creates problems for others, and invites the old forces.

Not until the CCP collapses are there supposed to be any Falun Dafa Associations, assistance centers, or general coordinators in mainland China. Truth-clarification efforts are grassroots, with everyone his or her own coordinator. This can prevent the CCP from targeting weak links to damage a large group of practitioners. This will also avoid harming an area after a practitioner’s arrest.

Another phenomenon is that some who have enlightened on an evil path and are undermining Dafa and attacking Minghui. Based on their enlightenment on the evil path, they interpret the teachings, circulate fake articles claiming Master wrote them, and promote their own articles and comments. Some followers even considered those undermining Dafa as their “second master,” leading to huge tribulations physically, financially, and in the family environment.

The vicious elements have set up many traps in this persecution. Some of them are being carried out by people who used to be practitioners and it can be difficult to discern them. The evil elements can use all these incidents to target our human attachments and loopholes. They can take advantage of them and destroy us if we are not vigilant. Master has told us to completely negate the persecution. We can do so only when we walk the path well based on Dafa.
