(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 6 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] The Case Against Ms. Li Wenhong Submitted to the Procuratorate
2. [Yulin City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Li Xueyi Sentenced to Prison
3. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Qingrong Arrested
4. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Enping and His Wife Ms. Yu Lan Harassed
1. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] The Case Against Ms. Li Wenhong Submitted to the Procuratorate
Ms. Li Wenhong was arrested and taken to the Jiujiang City Detention Center in March 2023. She was later released on bail pending trial for one year. Her case was recently submitted to the Yongxiu Procuratorate.
2. [Yulin City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Li Xueyi Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Li Xueyi from Linxia City and Mr. Wei Suichun from Huachi County of Qingyang City were reported to the police for distributing truth clarifying materials on March 31, 2023. They were arrested by officers in Yuyang District on April 1, 2023. It was recently learned that Mr. Li Xueyi was sentenced to prison by the Yulin City Court.
3. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Qingrong Arrested
Ms. Zhang Qingrong was recently arrested at home and taken to the police station. Two Falun Gong books were confiscated. Ms. Zhang was released later that day.
4. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Enping and His Wife Ms. Yu Lan Harassed
Mr. Zhang Enping was harassed at his office at the Hanhui Canal Administration Bureau in Mian County by Officer Gao Xiaobo from the Tiandang Police Station on March 14, 2024. Gao demanded to talk to Mr. Zhang and his wife Ms. Yu Lan and pressured them to sign a form. Mr. Zhang refused.
