(Minghui.org) I had lots of understandings after reading the following article from Minghui yesterday, “Practitioners in China, Please Do Not Participate in Overseas Phone Calling Projects.”
In remote history, gigantic cosmic bodies have deviated from the universal characteristic of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. This led to the stages of Formation, Stasis, Degeneration, and Destruction. Because of that, Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa) descended to this world for the Fa-rectification, and Dafa disciples are here to assist him in saving people. Therefore, we Dafa disciples have to align with the Fa as we work to end the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and save people as we cultivate during the Fa-rectification period.
During our cultivation, the dimension within ourselves is constantly being cleansed with increased capacity. If a Dafa disciple does not walk the path righteously, his or her dimension is unable to be purified, and sentient beings in the corresponding universes cannot be saved fundamentally. That is, if we practitioners do not act righteously collectively and reach a high level, the number of sentient beings we can save is limited. Each of us has the responsibility of cultivating better, considering ourselves as practitioners, and following Master’s words of “Your Mind Must Be Righteous” (Lecture Six, Zhuan Falun). For this phone calling project, since Master has mentioned not to do so in mainland China and not having large-scale coordination in mainland China, we should follow these Dafa teachings. Only by doing so are we walking on the right path.
In fact, we Dafa disciples are able to help save sentient beings because of the power of Dafa Master gave us. Only by truly cherishing Dafa and fully following Master’s teachings can we do our best in helping save people. If someone tries a different way, he or she is actually deviating from Dafa. This is the a fundamental issue. If some consider their methods more “effective” or “more suitable to the situation” in China than Dafa, that is deviation.
Some may think, “We have not had major problems for a long time. Probably compassionate Master has agreed with this approach of helping save people.” I think such an understanding is not based on Dafa. During cultivation practice, we should study Dafa and align with Dafa, and this is a process of enlightenment. Master is compassionate and gives us opportunities to make corrections. The old forces have not caused damage because it is still in the process of our enlightenment. We cannot assume this means whatever we do is aligned with Dafa. Genuine cultivation means being assimilated to Dafa, not guessing or taking chances.
