Truly Break Free From the Old Forces’ Persecution

(Minghui.org) After cultivating for so many years, some practitioners still can’t break away from the old forces’ persecution. Whenever they experience tribulations they assume they are arranged by the old forces and they’re confused about the Fa principles. They don’t improve their xinxing, try to understand the Fa, or remind themselves that our mission to save people is our top priority.

Master said,

“If we change the situation in human society and reverse the general climate, then let’s see who still says that Dafa is good and who changes his mind. This way, won’t everything suddenly become crystal clear?“... Dafa is of the universe and penetrates all the way down to human society. When a Fa of this magnitude is taught, how could anything be outside the arrangement? Isn’t what has happened a test for Dafa disciples’ xinxing? What is cultivation? When you say it’s good, I say it’s good, and everyone says it’s good, how can you see a person’s heart? Only at the critical moment can we see his heart. If he doesn’t let go of certain attachments he might even dare to betray a Buddha—could this be a minor problem?

We just want to make those disciples who aren’t practicing cultivation diligently see their own shortcomings, make those who are stumbling along surface, expose those who undermine the Fa in a disguised way, and enable those who are genuine disciples to reach Consummation.” (“Huge Exposure,” Essentials for Further Advancement)

Master arranged our cultivation environments, but we should use the old forces’ interference as opportunities to elevate our xinxing instead of excuses to explain away our tribulations.

Many practitioners either forget or can’t accept that Master said we are, “beating them at their own game.” These practitioners say, “Master didn’t arrange any tribulations for individual practitioners after July 20, 1999.” Then, how do you understand, “beating them at their own game” to improve our xinxing in cultivation?

If we can’t beat the old forces at their own game as we cultivate, it will be very difficult to break away from their arrangements because we’ve accepted their arrangements instead following Master’s arrangements.

Master said,

“In cultivation, everything you experience is a good thing, and you are establishing your own mighty virtue.” (Teachings at the Conference in the Eastern U.S.)

Master also said,

“And during these ordeals, lives are being chosen to either remain or be sifted out in the end, and just as much is at stake for our Dafa practitioners.” (“The Ordeals Our Spiritual Discipline Faces”)

Let’s cherish Master’s compassion! We must not just go through the motions when we do the three things. Practicing Falun Dafa targets our hearts and minds. Only by truly and solidly cultivating our xinxing can we become unsullied lotuses in a muddy world and return to our true homes with Master.
