Group Study Continued Even During the Lockdown

(Minghui.org) One morning in 2020, my son bought a lot of vegetables and other food. He told me that the city would be locked down later that day to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Some family members and practitioners alike tried to persuade me to suspend the daily Fa group study at my home. Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Dafa in July 1999, practitioners have gathered at my home every day to read Zhuan Falun and other Dafa books. Rain or shine, those who do not have jobs come in the morning and those who work come in the evening.

One practitioner rushed over and said, “Please notify our fellow practitioners not to come. If they do, they might not be able to return home once the city is under lockdown.”

My granddaughter said, “Grandma, every day at school I have to report how many people and visitors are in our home. Please consider telling them [practitioners] not to come during this special time.”

Another elderly practitioner suggested, “How about we suspend the group study for a while?”

But I looked at it differently. I put my palms together in front of my photo of Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, and said, “Master, please help. We should not let anything interrupt our group study—it is what Master has arranged for us. Please help other practitioners come as usual. We shall improve as a one body.”

When it was time, everyone came! They told me that there were several guards in every residential area, and anyone who entered the area had to register and show their ID. But my residential area was different. Guards were usually posted at each of the three gates, but no guards were present that day! My son was surprised, “How come all the other neighborhoods are closed, but not ours?” I knew that Master had helped me and blurted out, “Master is so great!”

So the two daily study groups continued to meet without interruption. None of the practitioners who came to my home ran into any obstacles. Everyone also took and distributed Falun Dafa information materials that I had produced. The lockdown didn’t delay our efforts to saving people. Thank you, Master!
