Our Cultivation Way Does Not Have “Dual Cultivation of a Man and a Woman”

(Minghui.org) Hongyu Zhao, who currently lives in New York, pretends to be a Falun Dafa practitioner. In the name of a practitioner, he cited teachings from Falun Dafa’s founder to confuse others while claiming he had cultivated to a very high level. He said he could help other practitioners to improve in order to do better in saving people. Moreover, he asked female practitioners with limited understanding of Dafa teachings to engage in “dual cultivation of a man and a woman” with him, causing a negative impact among practitioners. This is damaging Dafa, and his words and actions are not that of a Falun Dafa practitioner at all. What Zhao has done is harming practitioners with evil ways, a manifestation of demons causing chaos in the world.

According to a female practitioner who came from mainland China to the United States, Zhao had approached her to “share understandings.” She found that his remarks were similar to those from people who had enlightened along an evil path at Chinese labor camps. That is, they distorted the meanings of Dafa teachings. In fact, Zhao has been busy seeking out others for “sharing” and instructing them on “cultivation.” The typical process looks like this: whenever he learns that a practitioner needs help moving, applying for an identification card, or with other things, he would take the initiative to help out enthusiastically, followed by sharing his understandings. In a seemingly sincere manner, he would point out many of your attachments and say that you cannot succeed in cultivation with so many attachments. He would also say that it would be useless no matter how many things you do to save people since the people you save have no place to go. Then he would “kindly” advise you to just stay at home to cultivate instead of doing things that validate Dafa. He would tell you that Dafa does not need your money and that you should save it for yourself to use over time. After that, he would tell you how big the universe is according to his understanding, and how high he has cultivated. Those who lack confidence or a deep understanding of Dafa, or those who do not know how to cultivate, would follow him and be controlled by him.

In fact, Zhao has done many such deeds over the years. According to practitioners who know the situation, Zhao “admitted his mistakes but has never corrected them.” When Zhao’s second wife (not a practitioner) was delivering their second baby, Zhao did not return home at all. Out of sentimentality or notions, however, some practitioners took turns taking care of Zhao’s second wife after she gave birth. After arriving at Boston, Zhao had an affair with a Japanese reporter of a project. Upon hearing Zhao’s fallacious remarks, however, the reporter’s husband became very grateful to him and even cried hard. This example shows the level of Zhao’s brainwashing skills and morality. It also directly or indirectly led to Zhao’s second wife divorcing him.

It was reported that Zhao once led two young women away from a project and rented an apartment for them to stay in. Zhao also persuaded a woman who used to work and live in mainland China to come to the United States and marry him. After being turned down by Northern Academy, Zhao started investing in apartment rentals in Middletown, New York. Some women from Boston and California also followed him to Middletown. Zhao also contacted a female dance teacher in Middletown for so-called “sharing” multiple times, sometimes late at night, but the teacher refused. Zhao’s new wife, together with others he brainwashed, follow him closely. Some whistleblowers felt that they had been followed by Zhao. There have been other incidents as well.

Genuine practitioners can see clearly that Zhao’s actions have nothing to do with the dual cultivation of a man and a woman in other cultivation ways such as Tantrism, and that he just wants to control people. Falun Dafa cultivation does not involve the dual cultivation of a man and a woman.

Master Li (founder of Falun Dafa), wrote, “Particularly in our school of Falun Dafa, there is no dual cultivation of a man and a woman, and neither do we need it.” (Lecture Five, Zhuan Falun) Then why were some people still confused and led astray? The old forces can take advantage of any attachment of a practitioner, whether it is related to fame, material interest, or sentimentality and amplify them. This way, they can destroy a practitioner through the actions of bad people. Cultivation is so serious and sacred, and one has to regard the Fa as teacher.

Here we hope those practitioners who follow Zhao and those confused by him will wake up. If you still want to practice Falun Dafa, you must become rational and cut ties with him, study Dafa teachings with your heart, and walk your cultivation path well.
