(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 9 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Tianjin] Ms. Jin Xiaoling Officially Arrested

1. [Tianjin] Ms. Jin Xiaoling Officially Arrested
Ms. Jin Xiaoling, 41, was arrested and taken to the Nankai District Detention Center by officers from Wanxing Street Police Station in the Nankai District on November 21, 2023. She was officially placed under arrest.
Her mother suffers from Parkinson’s disease and cannot speak or take care of herself. Her daughter had just turned four years old.
2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Liying and Ms. Wang Guixiang Arrested
On July 20, 2023, Jiutai District Police Department instructed various township police stations to ransack the homes of Falun Gong practitioners and arrest them. The home jointly rented by Ms. Liu Liying and Ms. Wang Guixiang was ransacked by several people from the Qitamu Police Station, and Ms. Liu was arrested. Ms. Wang has been taking care of her elderly father. When she returned to her rented home some time later, the place was in shambles. The refrigerator and freezer were unplugged, and the food was rotten and infested with maggots. The desk drawers were pulled out and damaged. Clothing and quilts were thrown all over the floor.
The police confiscated six photos of the founder of Falun Gong, two Falun diagrams, two sets of Falun Gong books (over 100 books in total), printed materials, four printers, two laptops, about 30,000 yuan in cash, both practitioners’ national ID cards, bank cards, passbooks, a silver-colored suitcase, at least 10 large and small bags, three cell phones, seven or eight speakers for playing Falun Gong content.
3. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Gong Yun Displaced
Four officers from the Xinjiezi Police Station in Mian County went to the home of disabled Ms. Gong Yun on November 15, 2023, to arrest her. She locked herself in the bedroom and talked to the police for several hours. At noon, the officers left to eat, and Ms. Gong left. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Guo Peilu Abused in Prison
Ms. Guo Peilu was taken to Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on the evening of March 28, 2023. On April 3, Ms. Guo and all the practitioners in the Prison Admission Section were transferred to the No. 12 Ward, which was dedicated to secretly and forcibly “transform” and brainwash Falun Gong practitioners.
Ms. Guo was kept alone in Cell 109 on the first floor of No. 12 Ward. Two to four prisoners, instigated by prison guards, took turns verbally assaulting her and pressuring her to stop practicing. She was not allowed to go to the toilet or sleep if she refused to plead guilty or write the “five statements.” She was physically punished by being made to stand in an area the size of one brick without moving. They forced her to watch videos that slandered Master and Falun Gong. When she became sleepy, she was not allowed to close her eyes. When she could not stand any longer, the inmates dragged her and held her up to watch videos. Ms. Guo resisted transformation for three days and two nights, and was forced to “transform” when she was losing consciousness. Her legs and feet were severely swollen. She was not able to walk. She had to be held up to use the toilet.
Ms. Guo’s personal savings account of over 5,000 yuan was seized during the period.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Qian Xiaoguang Tortured
Qian Xiaoguang (gender unknown), from Shenbei New Area, was arrested on September 20, 2023, and has since remained in custody. Qian was given electric shocks, exposed to strong beams of light, and otherwise tortured, when they tried to extract a confession. Further details are pending.
6. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested or Harassed
In October 2023, the police went to Wang’s home to take photos and videos, and forced Wang to say “I will quit practicing.”
On October 1, 2023, Mr. Li Hongwei was arrested by officers from the Mishan City Domestic Security Division.
On November 15, 2023, Mishan City Court held a hearing and sentenced Mr. Jiang Hongfu to five months of criminal detention. He was held in the Mishan City Detention Center.
