(Minghui.org) There was an explosion of COVID-19 cases in China in mid-December 2022. My relatives, friends, and neighbors all caught it, one after the other.
I work in a supermarket and come into contact with many customers every day. People were wearing N95 masks and protective gloves and were terrified of catching the virus.
Two co-workers went home sick on December 9, 2022, and couldn’t come back to work because they tested positive. Everyone was in a bit of a panic, saying they would all be infected in a few days. Sure enough, my co-workers got sick one after the other.
When my shift was over at 7 p.m. one evening, I noticed that my co-worker who managed the fruit section wasn’t well. Her eyes were red, her face was flushed, and she had a fever. I told her to go home and rest, and I would finish her shift. She was very grateful and thanked me as she left.
In just a few days, there were only four or five of us left who hadn’t caught the virus, and we had to share the workload usually done by about a dozen employees.
I was in charge of fresh produce, as well as taking care of other areas whenever I had a free moment. I was very busy every day
During this time, some customers came in feverish and coughing. In the end, there were only two of us in the supermarket who weren’t infected, and I was one of them. We used to have someone make meals for all the employees, but since we were so short-staffed, no one was available. I took over that job as well, in addition to my regular work.
All my co-workers were impressed that I stayed healthy and could take on so much extra work without getting worn out. They were amazed that I didn’t get infected, even when I didn’t wear a N95 mask like everyone else.
I told them that my good health came from practicing Falun Dafa, which improves immunity. I suggested they recite the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good” and they would be blessed as well. I told them the truth about Falun Dafa and most of them agreed to quit the CCP and it affiliated organizations.
Some customers also told me they were amazed that I never got the virus, even though I was in close contact with infected customers every day. I used this opportunity to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa to them and to also explain its many health benefits.
