(Minghui.org) I began to practice Falun Dafa in 1998 because I suffered from different health problems. I went through a fundamental change physically and mentally after I began to practice. At the time, I realized how profound Falun Dafa is. This reinforced my belief in Falun Dafa and Master Li (Falun Dafa’s founder) and my determination to step into Falun Dafa cultivation. I have studied the Fa and memorized it during the past 20 plus years, and have done the three things well, just as Master asked of us.
I understand from studying the Fa that nothing a Falun Dafa practitioner comes across is accidental. The Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa is controlled and manipulated by the evil elements of the old forces in other dimensions. It was also arranged by the old forces many ages ago. It is an evil test experienced by Falun Dafa practitioners.
Master doesn’t acknowledge this evil test. Our Dafa practitioners shouldn’t acknowledge it either. We must strictly comply with Master’s requirements and firmly believe in Master and the Fa. Only then can we overcome this tribulation and completely negate the arrangement by the old forces.
Below, I recount my experiences of how I negated the evil persecution on several occasions.
First Arrest: Issue Resolved
One practitioner came to tell me one afternoon in the summer of 2005 that another practitioner heard that the local Political and Legal Affairs Committee demanded that my company would have me arrested by the 610 Office, the National Security Department, the Police Department, the local police station, and the company that is supervising me. I would be arrested and taken to a brainwashing center. He asked me to leave immediately to avoid the arrest. But, I was assigned to the night shift that night. The evil had arranged it carefully, and in the most effective way decided to arrest me at my workplace.
Time was limited. I packed some clothes, put some money in my pocket and went to work. Many practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts and told me what they thought of the issue. I did my work as normal. The supervisor came to check my work from time to time. When the supervisor and other workers had left for the night, I told a colleague who was aware of the truth about the would-be incident and asked her to finish my work. I then left with another practitioner.
Sure enough, the police cars and the officials from various departments came but didn’t find me. They were furious and said that if my company couldn’t find me within three days, my company and every employee would be punished. They looked for me in the streets, at the bus stations, and at my friends and relatives. However, it was easy for me to just go to a large city, thanks to our compassionate Master’s protection and practitioners’ sending righteous thoughts.
Some practitioners suggested that I stay in the other city and pick up casual work. But, I thought that this would mean that I acknowledged the old forces arrangement and persecution. Dafa practitioners shouldn’t acknowledge this unreasonable persecution. We should walk on the path arranged by Master, and keep sending righteous thoughts. Practitioners are doing their best under the circumstances and shouldn’t be persecuted. We are blessed to cultivate in Dafa. When I come across tribulations, I must have omissions that the evil takes advantage of. I must take my time to calm down, study the Fa with a focused mind, and do the three things well. Only then could I break through the interference.
With the help of other practitioners, I rented a shared apartment. I studied the Fa, did the exercises, and sent forth righteous thoughts for some time. My dimensional field was cleansed. My cultivation state improved, I felt that I had fewer human attachments, and no longer held as much fear.
I started to write letters using my own name and sent them to the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, the 610 Office, the National Security Division, the police department, and the leaders of my company, as well as any other CCP organization. I wanted them to be good and hoped they would make the right choice after they learned the truth, and would treat Dafa practitioners kindly. I wanted them to have a good future.
Master said:
“Wherever there’s a problem, that is where you need to clarify the truth and save people.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2002 Conference in Washington, D.C.,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World Volume II)
I felt my dimensional field was clear and my righteous thoughts were strong after 15 days. I realized that I must return home and stop the evil by sending righteous thoughts. I must go back to work and continue my normal life.
I went to my company the next day after I came home. The leaders welcomed me warmly. They didn’t say anything but asked me to rest for two days before I started my work. My colleagues were surprised to see me but they were concerned as to what could happen to me. The seemingly mad and evil persecution was dissolved thanks to Master’s compassionate protection.
Second Arrest: Resolved Easily
Another practitioner and I went to some villages and counties by motorcycle to distribute truth-clarification materials and DVDs and help people withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations about nine miles from my home one afternoon in the spring of 2008. When we were talking to people, a police car stopped near us suddenly. We were surprised and felt a bit afraid when we saw the car.
A few police officers got out of the car and grabbed our arms and pushed us into the car. We looked into their eyes straight and asked them what they were doing. They said that people reported us. Then we were taken to the police station.
We sent forth righteous thoughts to dissolve our fear, hatred, and competitiveness on the way, and clarified the truth to the officers. I knew that what Dafa practitioners were doing was righteous and didn’t deserve to be persecuted by the evil. We shouldn’t allow innocent people to commit crimes against Falun Dafa. They didn’t know the truth about Dafa and were deceived by the CCP’s lies. We clarified the truth to them in detail. The older officers listened and thought a bit while the younger ones didn’t listen. We were held in a dark and dirty cell.
We realized that it was time to send forth righteous thoughts. We sat on the concrete floor with legs crossed and sent strong righteous thoughts to dissolve the evil beings and factors that manipulated the young officers. We felt that our dimensional fields were cleared and our righteous thoughts were very strong. Meanwhile, we looked within to see what kind of attachments we had that were taken advantage of by the evil. We knew that if we didn’t feel any fear or human attachments, the evil would perish instantly.
The police came after dinner. An older officer said that he would send us home so that our family members wouldn’t look for us everywhere. I could hardly believe my ears and wondered if they would send us to the detention center instead. We told him that we would go home driving our motorcycles, thanked him, and told them that they were good people. He saw us off outside the police station and said: “We know that Falun Dafa is good. We are not willing to persecute you. You know they reported you to us three times before I came after you. People here like to report people. Please go to the other areas to save people going forward.” We felt so happy for him. Sentient beings were awakening after learning the truth and positioning themselves well. Tears filled my eyes on my way home. I sincerely thanked Master and Dafa.
Third Arrest: Resolving Difficulty
A practitioner and I went to distribute truth-clarification materials in the largest and most high-end residential area, with the most monitors and security guards in our city. Each of us had a full bag of materials. We sent forth righteous thoughts and asked Master to strengthen us. A security guard left the gate temporarily, and a resident swiped her card and the gate door opened. We drove our motorcycles in and parked in the underground car garage. We took the lift to the top floor of a large building. Each level had four households. We distributed the materials level by level from the top level down.
When we were down on the fourth or fifth level, we saw a cleaner. She heard our footsteps, and rang for security. We didn’t leave until we finished the whole building. We heard the security guards shouting outside and trying to surround us. When we took the lift to the lower level, we saw one guard stationed there. He asked us loudly if we were distributing pamphlets. I said yes and went directly to my motorcycle. He grabbed me and didn’t let me go. I sent forth righteous thoughts and clarified the truth to him. He didn’t listen and claimed that he would hold me until his team leader came.
Soon all the security guards and the team leader arrived. The team leader had a copy of the truth-clarification material in his hand. He shouted: “Is this an ad? It is a Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) propaganda flier.”
I said: “Yes, Falun Gong truth-clarification material is a blessing for those who receive it during the pandemic. Isn’t it good to wish you peace and safety? Such huge celestial changes occurring. Smart people are looking for the truth and quitting the CCP to keep them safe. How come you still don’t know that Falun Gong is good and still persecute us? You people should never repay favor with hatred and do evil deeds to kind Falun Gong practitioners. If you don’t believe me, please read these materials, and you will definitely benefit a lot.”
My fear and worries disappeared as I spoke. I was at peace. The team leader said: “Don’t you come here again. If the National Security Division finds out, you will be in trouble.” I drove my motorcycle out of the residential area.
Fourth Arrest: Holding Less Fear
We felt the urgency to save people two years after the pandemic started. We didn’t want to leave out anyone, especially those people in the villages and counties. Four of us, divided into two groups, went into the villages and counties to distribute truth-clarification materials. Within two hours, we covered several villages. We felt good and were less fearful. We didn’t realize that we were becoming complacent, greedy, and attached to doing things.
We didn’t relax even on the hot summer days. We went out to distribute materials every ten days to two weeks. However, we were targeted by some people and the police. One day, when I had given out my last flier and was about to come back home, my righteous thoughts wavered and I was no longer on guard, ignoring safety. Three angry men came out of nowhere, scolded me loudly, and held me. They wouldn’t let me go. They were controlled by the old forces. They had been searching for us for some time. However I clarified the truth to them and told them to be good, but they still didn’t let me leave. They said that they had reported me to the police and would wait for them to arrive.
The police car drove me into the city police station directly. I was at a loss as to what to do when I saw so many officers in the well-guarded building with red CCP flags all over the place. But on second thought, I am a Falun Dafa practitioner who is unstoppable. I came here to save sentient beings. As required by Master, I was doing the most righteous things in the universe. Why should I be afraid?
As soon as I got out of the car, I clarified the truth to the police. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts to dissolve the evil beings and elements that controlled them. The practitioners outside learned this and sent forth righteous thoughts for me as well. I felt I was enveloped by strong energy without fear.
The police locked me in a cage. I sent forth righteous thoughts and looked within to see what kind of attachments I had, that the evil had taken advantage of. I had the attachments of complacency, greediness, sentiment towards family, lust, and desire, and liked to do things. I must get rid of them ASAP.
They took me to the hospital for a physical examination after 10 p.m. I sent forth righteous thoughts all the way and clarified the truth to the hospital staff members and people who were there. They nodded with smiles. Soon the doctor took my blood pressure which was very high. I was surprised but realized that it was a fake reading which would help me go home.
The next day the police asked me to sign the detention notification which stated that I would be detained for 10 days. I said to them seriously: “I haven’t committed any crime by being a good person complying with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I let people know the truth and keep themselves safe. You illegally detained me. You know the law but proceed to break it. You are committing crimes. Please ask the leader of the National Security Division to come here. My blood pressure is so high yet you still persecute me. He must take full responsibility if there are any consequences.”
They then tried to pressure me to get vaccinated. I refused because I had high blood pressure. I explained to the doctor who said that vaccination is voluntary and he would not take responsibility.
The officers had no other choice but to call their leaders including the leader of the National Security Division. The officer in charge said: “We will not detain you. I will call your child to pick you up.” On the way back to the police station, one officer said to me: “Be careful going forward. Don’t fall into our hands again. Don’t talk much to us when you meet us in the streets. Clear up all your things after you go home. As usual, we might go to your home to have a look within a week. Do not let us see your stuff.” I walked out of the police station righteously and with dignity.
My Insights: Holding Divine and Not Human Thoughts
I have negated the evil’s persecution four times, as well as endless harassment from my company, the community committee, and the police during the past 23 years. My enlightenment was that Dafa practitioners first and foremost must firmly believe in Master and the Fa and have strong righteous thoughts. Righteous thoughts come from the Fa. We must study the Fa more. Studying the Fa well is most important.
We are Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period and come to save sentient beings. Evil factors of the old forces control those people who don’t know the truth yet and get involved in the persecution. Clarifying the truth is crucial. Cultivation is a process during which a human being can cultivate into a divine being. We must regard ourselves as cultivators all the time and use divine thoughts instead of human thoughts, and let our cultivated side play the main role. The evil will then perish.
