The Way to Change One’s Fate

(Minghui.org) I have practiced cultivation in Falun Dafa for over a dozen years and talked to many people face-to-face about the persecution.

I was once waiting in line to pay for my items in a shopping mall, while a baby nearby looked at me with wide-open eyes and stretched out her two little arms. She wanted me to hug her and was persistent. So I reached out and embraced her. The baby’s mother felt it was unusual, “She doesn’t usually want to be hugged by others!” I said, “She is very smart and wants me to tell you about Falun Dafa.” The mother attentively listened to me and quit the communist Youth League and Young Pioneers.

On my way home, while passing by a small supermarket, a four-year-old girl approached me and said, “Hello, Auntie! You are beautiful. Your hair is shining with golden light.” I squatted down and told her, “Thank you! Auntie asks you to remember ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’” A young man then came over. I asked him, “Is she your daughter?” He nodded. I said, “She is very smart and cute!” I saw that he looked kind, and I told him the facts about Falun Dafa without hesitation. I asked him to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates. He listened, and then readily agreed to quit the CCP’s organizations. The girl’s mother was at the counter of the market, so I went over and helped her quit the Party and its organizations.

I continued walking home. Before long, I met a man who was well dressed. I greeted him politely, “Hello! You look like a government official.” He replied, “How can you tell?” I asked, “Don't all government officials join the Party?” He admitted it. I asked, “Have you heard about ‘Quitting the CCP for a safe future?’” He asked, “Why?” I replied, “The Party has done a lot of evil things in its past political movements, such as the Cultural Revolution, the June 4th Tiananmen Square Massacre, and the persecution of Falun Dafa.”

He listened sincerely and commented, “The CCP has harmed people badly! It’s similar to slowly boiling frogs in water. People could not easily realize that the Party was harming them, nor could they resist or escape. They were eventually persecuted to death!” He expressed a firm interest in quitting the Party and its affiliates using his real name.

A Wheelchair-Bound Woman Walks Again

I met an elderly woman who was taking her grandson to school. I told her the facts about the persecution. She scolded me, however, saying that I go around saying bad things about the Party all day long. I was not moved by it and looked inside for the reason after I returned home. When I talked to her another time, she still refused to listen and scolded me even more.

Three years later, I met her again while out walking. She was in a wheelchair. She initiated greeting me and said, “I finally saw you again! I can’t walk anymore and I’m only in my 60s! I broke my foot half a year ago.” I told her to recite, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” and talked to her about the persecution. She listened and said, “I believe what you said” and agreed to quit the Young Pioneers that she joined when she was young. A young woman next to her said, “My mother-in-law has been waiting here for you for many days!”

I met her again a few days later; she was walking with a cane. I told her that one elderly lady I knew suffered from rheumatism for many years, and her rheumatism was gone in only 5 days after she started reciting, “Falun Dafa is good!” She was even happier after hearing this story!

After a while, I saw her again. She was walking normally down the street. She said she wanted to move to the building where I lived so that she could see me every day and receive more benefits. From then on, whenever she saw me talking to people about Falun Dafa, she told the people around her, “She’s a very nice person!”

“My Daughter-in-Law Stopped Asking for a Divorce!”

An elderly woman approached me and said, “I’m very distressed! My daughter-in-law wants to divorce my son. I have only one son. What should I do?” I smiled, “Please recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I then gave her two copies of Minghui Weekly and said, “Please ask your son and daughter-in-law to read this material.” I met her a month later and she told me, “Thank you, thank you! My son and daughter-in-law read the material. My daughter-in-law stopped asking for a divorce, and she began to treat me well.” I said, “You should thank my Master!” She exclaimed, “Thank you, Master!”

“It Turned Out to Be You!”

I once met a young woman and as soon as I started talking to her, she said emotionally, “It turned out to be you!” She then explained, “A few years ago, I always had back luck. So I went to ask a fortune teller. He told me that at some point in my life, someone would tell me how to change my destiny. It is happening now!” Her words deeply moved me. “Yes, one will receive blessings if they understand the truth about Falun Dafa and sincerely recites, ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!’”

“You Changed My Life!”

I met a woman who greeted me with a smile. She pointed to a man in front of her and said, “He is a pickpocket; be careful.” I thanked her, then looked at the man. He was about 5’6” tall and in his 40s; he didn’t look like a bad guy. I thought, “If he is a pickpocket, I should still offer him Dafa’s salvation.” I stood there looking at his back and sent forth righteous thoughts. I asked Master for strengthening. The man turned around and came over to me. I asked him, “Do you remodel homes?” He said no. I said, “I think you should.” He grinned. I then talked to him about Falun Dafa and the persecution. He listened attentively and agreed to quit the Party and its affiliates. He also promised to often recite, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”

Some days later, a man wearing a hard hat came over to me; it was him! He told me with a smile, “I’m helping people remodel homes now. I have lots of work. It was all because you said I should do remodeling work. Now, I’m really doing it! You changed my life!” I smiled. A life was saved. Thank you, Master, for your compassionate arrangement!

A Bus Driver Exclaims, “You Are Amazing!”

While riding a bus, I sat next to a kind man. I learned he was a retired official. I told him about the beauty of Falun Dafa and the evil nature of the Party. He agreed with me and quit the Party and its affiliates. With Master’s blessing, the two of us seemed to have a similar understanding. We talked openly on the bus about the evil nature of the Party in its previous political movements, as well as how it shamelessly persecutes innocent practitioners.

The bus was almost full of passengers, and they all listened attentively. Our voices echoed throughout the entire bus. I talked for more than half an hour and when I finished, the bus arrived at the stop. When I got off, the driver said to me, “Educated people are different; you are amazing!”
