Dafa Healed Me and Benefited My Family and Friends

(Minghui.org) Over twenty-plus years of Falun Dafa cultivation, Dafa has guided me through trials and tribulations. I would not have progressed without Master’s compassionate protection and blessings and the sharing and support of fellow practitioners.

Embarking on My Cultivation Path

I had many severe illnesses in the past, including liver, kidney, and gallbladder problems, severe rheumatoid arthritis, a bulging disc, and bone spurs all over my spine. I was still in so much pain after trying all sorts of treatments that I lost hope for my life. A colleague recommended Falun Dafa to me and she told me about its amazing healing effects. In order to cure my illness, I agreed to give it a try.

Master purified my body in just two weeks. My celestial vision was also opened. I saw Master take out a black entity from my kidney area. It had two sharp ends and was screaming. That was just like what Master talked about in his Fa teachings.

“Somewhere in the body one may have a tumor, an infection, bone spurs, etc. It is because in another dimension there lies a being in that place.” (Lecture Seven, Zhuan Falun)

I knew right then that this was the true Buddha and the true Fa. I have been illness free since that time. After witnessing my change, some of my family members also began practicing Falun Dafa.

Through studying the Fa, I changed my previous atheistic notion and understood the true meaning of life. I thought in my heart that I should truly cultivate and be kind, and tell more people about the good news of Dafa, to repay Master’s life-saving grace.

Grievance With In-Laws Resolved

My in-laws have five children, four sons and one daughter. My husband was the eldest. His grandmother was also alive and I called her Granny. Back then, four generations lived under one roof. Since I had a humble family background, my in-laws did not care much for me. But Granny liked me very much.

I cared greatly for Granny, and my in-laws felt jealous; they kept finding fault with me and nitpicked everything I did. I began to resent my in-laws. One day, my mother-in-law and several sisters-in-law accused me of stealing a stick that held up the TV antenna. They all began beating me and pulling my hair so I was forced to fight back. Another time, my mother-in-law cursed me while I was preparing food for the family and I raised the knife and cursed her back.

After Granny passed away, my husband and I moved far away. We only visited his family during the New Year season for the sake of the holiday. After I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996, I let go of my resentment toward my in-laws. When my mother-in-law passed away in 1998, my husband and I paid the majority of the expenses for the funeral and burial. Others were moved, even though they had much better financial means than we did.

My father-in-law chose to live with us after that. I took good care of him and never asked him for any compensation. He was deeply moved and kept telling me that he was sorry for treating me poorly in the past. I told him that Dafa transformed me, and that if he also wanted a healthy body and peaceful mind, he should practice as well, and he did!

My Best Friend Recovered from Cancer

I have a best friend who turned 70 this year. She was diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2007. She had so many losses and grief in her life that it is hard to describe. She had four brothers, and she was the only girl. Her parents and three brothers all died of cancer. Another brother was paralyzed for 11 years and passed away eventually. Her husband died of leukemia at age 34. She raised her son and daughter as a single mother, and now she was diagnosed with rectal cancer. She cried so much and could not see any hope ahead.

When I heard about my friend’s condition, I brought her Master Li’s video and audio Fa lectures, as well as Dafa books. I stayed at her place for three days, taught her the exercises, and watched the Fa lecture series with her. She had a very good foundation and appreciated the Dafa teachings. Her body was purified thereafter. It has been 14 years, and she is still illness free!

Dafa Healed My Aunt’s Skin Problem

My aunt developed a severe skin problem in 2006. Lesions covered her entire body, and even her face was covered with areas that oozed blood and pus. She looked awful and felt miserable. She spent 20,000 yuan on various treatments, but to no avail.

When my aunt came to visit me, I did not recognize her. Not only was her face disfigured, but her body was deformed and painful due to all sorts of steroids she was on. The doctor told her that she might be paralyzed within six months.

I urged her to practice Falun Dafa, and told her many stories of people who recovered from various illnesses. She began watching Master’s Fa lecture series and doing the exercises.

Shortly after that, my aunt’s skin condition was resolved, and she no longer had hip pain. She was able to ride her bike again. All her family and relatives were impressed by the healing power of Dafa.
