(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an event in Seaside Heights to introduce Falun Dafa and expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) ongoing persecution on July 29, 2023.
The Jersey Shore is a popular summer vacation spot in the northeastern United States. Seaside Heights, a borough in the Jersey Shore, is over 100 years old and is famous for its boardwalk, which spans more than 2.5 miles. Many clubs, bars, shops, restaurants and entertainment venues are located along the boardwalk. Each summer tourists and residents come to Seaside Heights to enjoy the beach.
The town has never issued a permit for group activities due to safety concerns. Falun Dafa practitioners clarified the truth to local officials and talked to the town council. The town eventually granted them a permit.
Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises on the Seaside Heights boardwalk.

Practitioners wearing bright yellow T-shirts neatly stood in two long rows and demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises. Many people said they were attracted by the peaceful atmosphere and stopped by to learn about Falun Dafa.
While introducing Falun Dafa, the practitioners also told people about the CCP’s ongoing persecution. People signed their names on the petition and said they supported the practitioners' efforts to end the brutal persecution and crimes of forced live organ harvesting.
Falun Dafa Revealed the Meaning of Life

Mia Enach practices Falun Dafa and participated in the activity that day. She said that she's practiced Falun Dafa for 21 years and has benefited a lot, “Falun Dafa has allowed me to understand the meaning of life and reminds me to always be a truthful and tolerant person. I also reflect on myself and try to be a better person instead of blaming others and arguing.
Mia was very happy to participate in the activity so she could, “Let more people know about the persecution in China. This is very important and a persecution like this should not happen. It must end.”
Admiring the Practitioners' Persistent Efforts to Expose the Persecution
Lucino Spera from Philadelphia encouraged the practitioners.
Lucino Spera, who works in a therapy center in Philadelphia, was vacationing in Seaside Heights. He said that he's seen practitioners demonstrating the exercises in Philadelphia’s city center and received a flyer. He was happy to see practitioners in Seaside Heights and said, “Falun Dafa is very peaceful. I can feel their tranquility. This is a practice rich in spirituality. I want to learn more about Falun Dafa.”
He admired their persistent efforts to clarify the truth and to end the persecution. “Many western countries still don’t understand what is happening in China. It is important that practitioners are here to spread the truth. This is very important. I strongly support you!”
People Express Their Respect
Jennifer was strolling along the boardwalk when she noticed the practitioners. She gave them a thumbs up and told a practitioner that she respected and supported their efforts to expose the persecution. She said that what they are doing is very important for American society and she supports and encourages them.
