(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held a series of activities on St. Stephen’s Square in Budapest during the week of July 15, 2023, to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the peaceful resistance to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. They set up an information booth to introduce Falun Gong and call for public support in ending the persecution. Many people watched the speech and the candlelight vigil, and expressed their sympathy and support.

Emese and Tibor strongly condemn the CCP’s murder of practitioners and said they were concerned that Communism was coming to Hungary.
Marian, a yoga teacher and therapist, said she was attracted to the practitioners’ event by the great energy she felt. After listening to an introduction to Falun Dafa, Marian said, “It’s great! This should be practiced by everyone instead of being persecuted.” She encouraged practitioners to keep up their great efforts, and wished them success.
Two college students from the U.K. were surprised to hear the details of the persecution. They condemned the CCP’s atrocity of harvesting organs from living practitioners while they are alive and praised the values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
