With Strong Righteous Thoughts and Faith in Master, I Successfully Rescued My Husband

(Minghui.org) My husband was arrested in 2016 after being reported by some high school students for talking to them about Falun Gong. When the police raided our home, I sent forth righteous thoughts so that the police wouldn't find anything to frame us with. Indeed, they didn’t take the hard drive that we used to save Falun Gong related information. I knew that Master had protected us.

After 14 days of detention, my husband returned home. Only two months later, the police returned and took him back into custody, with the excuse that they found Falun Gong related videos on his cellphone. The police said his case was very significant, implying that they would seek a heavy sentence against him.

I got scared and didn’t know what to do. One practitioner encouraged me to increase the frequency of sending forth righteous thoughts and have faith in Master, and I did.

Three months passed. I didn’t receive any updates about my husband’s case. Then a relative who works in the police department asked me to bribe the judge with 20,000 yuan and the court would hire a lawyer for my husband and pay for the legal fees. Worrying about my husband, I didn’t give it a second thought and agreed.

I later shared it with a fellow practitioner. She reminded me that I shouldn’t cooperate with the evil. I realized that I was wrong. So I called the lawyer appointed by the court and asked him whether he would enter a guilty or not guilty plea for my husband. “Of course a guilty plea.” the lawyer replied.

“We didn’t commit any crime and our faith is legally protected. I’m afraid I will have to dismiss you.” In this way, I fired the lawyer and looked for another lawyer in Beijing who was willing to enter a not guilty plea for my husband.

My relative was angry upon hearing that I had dismissed the court-appointed lawyer. He said the judge was also very upset. He had made a deal with the judge that my husband would be released immediately after the court hearing, but now I had ruined his plan. He also blamed me for harming my husband.

I emphasized that the lawyer I hired would enter a not guilty plea for my husband. But my relative remained upset, commenting that it wouldn’t help. Withstanding the pressure from my relative and the court, I worked with the rights lawyer in defending my husband.

When the judge decided to postpone my husband’s hearing for a month, I used the time to study the Fa and send forth righteous thoughts. I had a dream that my husband learned to memorize Master’s poems and a judge with a sense of justice was in charge of his case. I knew I did things right and Master was encouraging me.

On the day of the hearing, I invited my family and friends to attend the session. I hoped that they could listen to the lawyer’s defense argument and understand that we are being persecuted. The lawyer delivered a strong presentation and the judge didn’t know how to respond. After all, they knew all too well that the persecution didn’t have any legal basis.

Meanwhile, I also sent the judge’s phone number to Minghui website. Many fellow practitioners called him and clarified the facts to him, which he indeed understood. Before my husband’s sentencing trial, the judge asked to talk to me in his office. He told me that my husband would be released in two weeks. I thanked him for his kindness and sense of justice.

The judge kept his word. When my husband returned home, he told me that he learned to recite Master’s poems, exactly like my dream. He said Master’s Fa greatly strengthened his righteous thoughts.

Through this experience, I witnessed the power of sending righteous thoughts and having faith in Master. As long as we do things based on the Fa, Master will protect us.
