(Minghui.org) Practitioners participated in two festivals, Kirschfest (Cherry Festival) in Naumburg on June 24, 2023 and Stadtfest (City Festival) in Dessau on July 1, 2023. Many people stopped, talked to practitioners and signed the petition to end the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa.
Naumburg: Locals Agree With the Principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance
Naumburg and Dessau are located in the middle of Germany. Naumburg is an historic city and over 1,000 years old. The city hosts its annual Kirschfest (Cherry Festival) in June. Practitioners participated in the event by setting up an information booth, where they demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and distributed information and paper lotus flowers.
Many passersby took flyers while others chatted with practitioners and learned what Falun Dafa was. Some nodded in agreement after reading the truth clarification banners.

An elderly couple was very interested in Falun Dafa. They both agreed with the universal principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The man said that since he was still recovering from a stroke, he could only move slowly. After watching the online exercise instructional videos and learning that Falun Dafa can benefit both mind and body, the couple were happy to talk with the practitioners.

A man and his two sons came to the practitioners’ booth. He picked up a Falun Dafa newsletter and began reading it. He told practitioners that he liked the newsletter and that the universal principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance give people strength. Despite the decline of moral standards in today’s society, as long as one adheres to these principles, one can benefit from it and have a positive effect on his surroundings.

A elderly woman on a motorbike stopped and talked with a Falun Dafa practitioner. She said that she was 87 years old and lived in Naumburg. The practitioner gave her a lotus flower with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance written on it. She smiled happily after learning about Falun Dafa and the principles.
Dessau: Falun Dafa Well-Received at Local Festival
Stadfest (City Fest) was held in Dessau on July 1, 2023. The festival is a joyous celebration consisting of a variety of events such as stage performances, medieval market, fairgrounds, sports and family activities.
Falun Dafa practitioners set up a information booth at a busy intersection near a local shopping center. People came from all directions and chatted with them. Several tourists and local residents stopped to watch as practitioners demonstrated the exercises. Many chatted with practitioners for a long time and learned about Falun Dafa and how the CCP is persecuting it.
