(Minghui.org) The annual “July 20” commemoration events will soon occur. It was on this day 24 years ago, that Jiang Zemin, former leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), launched a campaign to persecute Falun Gong. The persecution continues to this day.
Over those years, Falun Dafa disciples around the world have persevered in exposing the severity and heinous nature of the persecution, helping many people, especially those in the West, understand what is happening and to negate the negative propaganda the CCP has spread worldwide. People outside China sympathize with us and support us in opposing the persecution and upholding our freedom of belief.
One activity practitioners often do is hold public parades. In the processions, we have the Tian Guo Marching Band, the celestial maidens, waist drummers, and practitioners holding various banners to express our messages. Since it is not possible to talk to parade onlookers individually, the messages we print on the banners are critical.
For the upcoming events, I suggest making banners with the following messages:
1. Upholding Our Freedom of Belief to Practice Falun Gong2. The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance3. Help Stop the CCP’s Forced Organ Harvesting Crimes4. Read Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to Learn of the Evil Nature of the CCP 5. Falun Dafa Reduces Stress, Improves Health, and Elevates Morality
I believe that these messages can help people understand the most basic facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution. Of course, each city can edit the language to make it more clear and attractive. We can print the banners in both Chinese and English, and display them in different sections of the parades so that people will see them multiple times. I hope these messages will arouse people’s curiosity and prompt them to learn more about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
