Father and Brother Withdraw from the CCP

(Minghui.org) When residing in the countryside, I began learning the facts about Falun Dafa by surfing the Internet in 2013. However, I didn’t know anything about cultivation. After overcoming many obstacles and hardships, I finally started practicing Falun Dafa in 2021.

My Father Believes in Falun Dafa

My father is a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and for years I have spoken to him about the facts of Falun Dafa, and encouraged him to quit the CCP. But, no matter how hard I tried, he refused.

I realized that people of his age might be frightened by the CCP’s previous campaigns. I was not a cultivator at that time, so when I spoke to him about Falun Dafa, my words might not have been convincing.

I did try several times to convince him using different approaches, but he still refused. After beginning to practice Falun Dafa, it took two years of consistently speaking to him before he finally agreed to quit the CCP.

I then taught him to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He keeps it in mind and recites it all the time. As a result, everything goes well at home and outside my home.

One day, he was excited and said, “Guess what good thing I received today?” He then stretched out his wrist and showed me a delicate bracelet with sentences with “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

Seeing the cheerful look on his face, I became emotional. It’s so nice to see that people were so kind. Through cultivation, I knew that was the joy of awakening human beings so that they can have a better future. I was filled with joy and happiness.

In the 1980s, my father owned a family farm and killed many animals. Perhaps because of this, he suffered karmic retribution from leg pain for many years. When it was severe, he couldn’t walk a step.

After I practiced Dafa, I once had a very clear dream. Several people were trying to push down the door of my father’s house to get in, and I resisted desperately.

Thus, they failed to get in. When I woke up, I knew that those people came to collect debts, but I decided not to say anything to my father, as I was afraid he would panic.

I also asked my father to listen to Master Li’s (Dafa’s founder) lectures, and he now listens to them for two hours every day. He enjoys listening to them even though he doesn’t do the exercises.

He particularly likes listening to the music associated with the exercises and says it sounds beautiful. I told him, “Of course, it sounds beautiful. It’s like heavenly music.”

My father is 80 years old this year. His face is rosy; his legs don’t hurt anymore, and he has been safe and sound from the pandemic for three years.

I told him that he should be grateful to Dafa's Master, and he repeatedly said, “Thank you, thank you, Master.”

My Brother and Falun Dafa

My brother’s family of three works in a factory, and still tends a few acres of land as well as a vegetable garden. They are busy year-round.

They have worked hard for many years, but still don’t have enough money to build a house for their son. During the time I was talking to my father about Falun Dafa’s truths, and why he should quit the CCP, I was also talking to my brother about the same things.

As he was always reticent, I simply stopped talking about it. Later, thinking that a Dafa practitioner should have compassion, I knew I must continue talking to him about Dafa.

One day I went to my brother’s house. He had worked the night shift and happened to be at home that day.

After entering the room, I explained the truth to him, starting with the persecution of Dafa practitioners, talking about the current plague, about the preciousness of life, and asked him to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” for a good future.

He was still the same as before, being resistant and evasive. I told him: “If you can listen to what I said, you will be able to live well in life after life.”

The last sentence might have touched his heart because, at that moment, he suddenly lowered his head and said loudly: “Good!”.

I knew my brother had awakened. I told him to share what I had said to the people around him.

The Three Realms are on the verge of undergoing immense changes. The Creator is calling upon kind-hearted individuals to embrace a bright future. Have you heard this calling? Falun Dafa bestows blessings upon all beings in the universe, especially humans.

Those who obtain Falun Dafa in this lifetime will benefit throughout all their lifetimes. Missing out on this opportunity will be an eternal regret.

The words within Master’s book, Zhuan Falun, may appear simple, yet they hold profound secrets. I hope that individuals with karmic affinities in the world will pause their hurried steps and carefully read this book and be awakened.
