(Minghui.org) Practitioners from the Allgäu region in southern Germany gathered at the plaza in front of the city hall (Rathaus) of Kempten on June 3, 2023. They demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and told people how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes the spiritual practice in China. Many people signed the petition in support of practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution.
Kempten is located at the foot of the Alps and has a population of over 70,000. It is also one of the oldest cities in Germany with records dating back to ancient Greece and features many well-known sights and historic buildings.
Both tourists and local residents strolled around the ancient city enjoying the warm summer breeze, and many stopped at the practitioners’ information booth.
Practitioners held an Information Day in Kempten on June 3, 2023. Many people signed the petition and expressed their support for ending the persecution of Falun Dafa.
One tourist said that this was the first time he had heard about CCP’s forced organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners. He signed the petition and expressed his full support for practitioners’ efforts to expose these atrocities. He said that he would look into Falun Dafa online and follow the news of the persecution.
An older lady was interested in practicing Falun Dafa and learning to meditate. She stayed at the booth for a long time, talked to practitioners and read the materials.
Another lady was emotional after learning about the persecution. She immediately picked up a pen and signed the petition. She also invited her friend to sign. Both ladies thanked practitioners for being there and telling people the situation in China.
Because so many people were interested in learning Falun Dafa, practitioners invited them to stop by Engelhalde Park the next day, where they taught the five sets of exercises for free.

Practitioners held an informational event in front of the city hall of Kempten two weeks before on May 20, 2023. There was a weekly farmer’s market, and the practitioners’ booth was located adjacent to it. Many locals were attracted to the peaceful atmosphere and stopped to talk with practitioners about the persecution.
