Clarifying the Truth Through Multiple Channels

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa brought light into my life once I began practicing in 1999. I have done the three things that practitioners should do, walked the path of cultivation, and helped Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa) save sentient beings for the past two decades.

Elevating My Character While Doing Housekeeping

I worked several jobs for many years. Despite the persecution and difficulties, I never stopped clarifying the truth at my workplace.

I worked for 15 years as a cleaning lady for a clothes store owner. It was tiring, because it’s a large building and spans over two floors. It takes 6-7 hours to clean the building. The upside is that I only work 8 to 10 days a month, which gives me time on my off days to do Dafa work.

In the beginning, the owner was very demanding and picky. Sometimes, she would give me more work, but without overtime. I tolerated everything and tried to do as she asked because I am a cultivator. After many years of hard work and not giving up, the owner’s entire family was able to accept the truth about Dafa when I clarified the truth to them. They also quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. In addition, they read all the Dafa informational materials I gave them.

The hard work I put in also exposed a lot of my attachments. I complained a lot in my mind when I saw the amount of shoes and clothes the owner had strewn all over the place. Sometimes my attachments to greed would appear: “Could she give me a few of these things that she doesn’t want anymore?”

When this thought appeared, I quickly identified and rejected it: This is not me, I don’t want it. I want to assimilate to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

Clarifying the Truth

I teamed up with a fellow practitioner to clarify the truth and help people quit the CCP. One person would do the talking while the other would send righteous thoughts. The results were good. On average we could help 10 to 20 people quit the CCP every day, and up to 40 on a good day. For 17 years, we clarified the truth to whomever met, be it a pedestrian, someone grocery shopping, taxi drivers, etc. During the process, we had people react violently toward us, people that really appreciated us, some shouted “Falun Dafa is good,” and others told us to be careful of our safety.

I later worked with a few other practitioners to clarify the truth and hand out Dafa materials such as cards, lanterns, brochures, calendars, and amulets in rural areas. We have been to the 18 rural villages in our area and traveled to places farther out to distribute materials.

Fellow practitioners and I also hang up banners, and distribute fliers in high-rise apartments in the downtown area. Younger practitioners took the upper floors while the elderly took the lower floors, hoping all people have the opportunity to see the truth and choose a bright future for themselves.

Teaming Up With Others to Establish a Materials Production Site

The truth-clarification materials production site in our area was uprooted in 2020 as the practitioner responsible for printing moved away. I had more free time then, so I took up the responsibility. I used to rely on other practitioners and did not like to waste my time with technical issues. These attachments needed to be eliminated, so I learned to print fliers and other materials from scratch. I oversaw the printing, and one practitioner helped me by bringing printing materials. We cooperated well in order to get the Dafa informational materials ready for distribution.

The practitioner I associate with has a lot of work, but never complains or makes excuses when it came to helping me. The practitioner has very a good character and is reliable. This moved me.

While printing materials, I sometimes felt lonely or flustered. After I realized those attachments, I began to eliminate them. Helping Master save sentient beings is a Dafa practitioner’s responsibility, so if it is something that Master or the Fa requires, then it is what I should do. The materials production site is still operating.

Master’s Encouragement

A few years ago, I didn’t have enough money to buy a washer and dryer. As well as the usual laundry, I needed to clean my husband’s work clothes and my son’s clothes, so there was constantly laundry to be done, by hand. I was in a bad mood, and said, “Master, I am always tired. When can I get a break?” While taking my clothes off the clothesline the next day, I saw 13 beautiful white Udumbara flowers underneath one of the clothes hangers. Tears started to cover my face, “Dear Master, thank you. I am not afraid of manual labor and being tired, not afraid of anything.”

One year, I had to rent a place that had a shared bathroom. The neighbor was male and not very hygienic. I always had to clean the bathroom after him. One day, I saw the wooden floor outside the bathroom with 23 very beautiful Udumbara flowers on it. I only did this one thing, but Master still compassionately encouraged me.

I moved to my current residence two years ago, and met a fellow practitioner. He works on the farm. The hours are long and it is hard work. He has never seen the Udumbara flowers before, so I asked Master to show him the flowers in hopes that he could become more diligent in cultivation. Not long after, 23 Udumbara flowers appeared on the leaves of his grape vines. He was very excited. If it is for the benefit of others, Master will make a request come true.

On the night of May 13, 2021, a practitioner and I went outside to hang banners. I prepared all the materials. One banner was not very legible so I used some markers to make it look better because I couldn’t waste Dafa resources, and I wanted the banner to help save more people. We hung up banners by markets, on trees on the sidewalk, near police stations, and intersections. “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and banners with “The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” were easily seen. We had one banner left and decided to hang it on a big tree near the highway, where there is a lot of traffic and there are many pedestrians. I sent forth righteous thoughts while the practitioner tried to throw it onto the tree.

When the banner unfurled on the tree, I saw a lot of bubbles in the air. I tried to figure out where they were coming from. After looking closely, I realized that those were Falun flying in the air. There were a few large Faluns as well, about a meter in diameter. They were transparent and the symbols and detail was visible to us.

We stood there watching for 15 minutes, completely forgetting where we were. Gradually, the Falun disappeared, and the night sky was quiet again. The other practitioner didn’t want to leave. We were happy the entire way home.

I have not been diligent in cultivation and haven’t looked within enough. I want to be more diligent with the remaining time. Master, please give me the strength to understand more Fa principles, be more diligent, and fulfill my vows.
