The Domestic Security Division Officer Decided to Let Us Go

(Minghui.org) Officers from the county Domestic Security Division and local police station broke into two practitioners’ homes. They arrested them, searched their homes and threatened their family members. The family members told us that these practitioners went to distribute information about Falun Dafa and were recorded by the security camera in a person’s home and then the street cameras. They would be detained for ten days. We learned that the Domestic Security Division and the police station had new leaders. The two practitioners’ family members had strong grievances against both practitioners because they were threatened by the police and were worried that their children would be implicated.

Local practitioners discussed what we should do. We recalled what Master said,

“Wherever you run into difficulties you can’t avoid them and go around them. Wherever there is a problem, that’s where you need to go resolve things and where you need to go clarify the facts. You must remember this! Once a problem comes up somewhere, that’s where you need to go clarify the facts. Don’t avoid it, no matter how evil it comes across.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World Volume III)

We knew the Fa principle and knew what to do. Hui, Ying and I would go to the police station and clarify the truth about the persecution to the police while other practitioners would wait outside and send righteous thoughts.

It was Tuesday. The practitioners went to the police station at around 8 a.m. I parked my motorcycle outside a breakfast store. I planned to ask the store owner the names of the new police station director and the political instructor. I saw a young policeman walk out of the station and he headed to the store. I asked him politely, “Is your director in?” He looked at me and asked why I looked for his director and whether I practice Falun Dafa. I told him I am a practitioner. He then shouted, “Go inside. Anyone else? We will arrest all of you.”

I understood from what he said that the practitioners were already inside the police station. I silently asked Master to strengthen me, and I walked into the police station.

I saw Hui sitting on the sofa and a policeman in his forties reading a letter Hui gave him. I went in and spoke to Hui. The policeman shouted, “Are you a practitioner? Why are you here?” I told him that we came to talk to them. He flew into a rage and shouted, “You dare come to the police station to talk about Falun Dafa? You are not going home today!”

The policeman I saw at the restaurant entered the room. He said, “People from the Domestic Security Division are coming. They will put you in jail.”

I was not moved. Hui sat there calmly. I knew she was sending forth righteous thoughts. I smiled at them and said, “Both of you are kind and righteous people. You will not do that.”

A policeman with a briefcase came in. When he looked at me I said, “I think I know you.” He said, “You know me? You are....” He said my name. I said yes. He then said, “I haven't seen you for several years. You looked younger. You must hate me very much.” I said, “So you still don’t understand Falun Dafa and why practitioners persist in practicing.”

I was reported to the police when I told people about Falun Dafa several years ago. This officer led other policemen and arrested me. I was incarcerated in a detention center for 6 months and then was sentenced to two years in prison. This caused great harm to me and my family.

He was now the political instructor in the Domestic Security Division. Ying also greeted him. He met Hui and Ying when they went to the station to clarify the truth to him while rescuing me.

He ordered the young policeman to take out the video camera and record us. Ying stood up and tried to stop him. The policeman got the camera and started to record. I realized that they would take videos of us anyway, so I said, “You can record us because we came here willingly. Make sure you record yourself and your voice.” They asked me why. I said, “This is evidence that you are involved in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.”

He said, “The CCP treats you so well. The CCP gives you money yet you are still against it. I don’t want to arrest you. But you came here yourself. We will sentence you directly and your children will be implicated. You (he pointed to Hui) have harmed your son. I can immediately fire him.” He asked the young policeman to print out our IDs. He then said, “Don’t you practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance? I will test you whether you are truthful today. Tell us your home addresses. If you don’t tell us, you are not truthful.” We didn’t cooperate with them.

At that time the political instructor’s cell phone rang. He went outside to talk on the phone. The young policeman told me that I not only harmed my daughter but also my grandchildren. I told him that I didn’t acknowledge what they said. I pleaded with Master to strengthen me and I sent righteous thoughts: “Completely dissolve the negative beings and elements that prevent them from listening to the truth and that manipulate them to persecute practitioners. Do not let them commit crimes against Falun Dafa.” I knew that other practitioners were also sending righteous thoughts.

The political instructor finished talking on the phone and returned. I smiled at them and said calmly, “You are kind people with righteous thoughts. You graduated from universities and have the ability to discern between righteous and evil, good and bad. We have the legal right to come here to tell you the truth. We are not breaking the law. You are the police for China, you are not the CCP’s police. You are supported by taxpayers' money, not the CCP’s money. There is no hatred or resentment between us. I know you don’t want to harm us. We comply with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and are good and kind people. We clarify the truth to people so that they can stay safe. We hope all of you will stay safe.”

Hui said to them, “When Jiang Zemin launched this persecution, people in the judicial departments and police department were ordered to commit crimes.”

The political instructor’s attitude was no longer so fierce. He said, “You say that Falun Dafa is good. I will find 10 people in the street. If 6 of them say Falun Dafa is good, I will not arrest you when you go out to distribute materials. If 6 of them say Falun Gong is not good, I will arrest you.” I told him that was unfair because people didn’t know the truth about the persecution. I said, “But there is one method that can prove how wonderful Falun Dafa is. You can follow me to the court. The court accepts tens of thousands of criminal cases each year. You can check to see if any practitioners have committed crimes.”

His expression gradually softened. He put the ID photos and Hui’s letter into his brief case and said, “You can leave. I have something else to do.”

I said to him, “Don’t get involved in persecuting Falun Gong.” He smiled and said, “Did I persecute you?”

Thanks to Master’s compassionate protection and the other practitioners’ cooperation, the seemingly vicious persecution was dissolved. Even though we didn’t talk about the evil nature of the CCP to the police and ask them to withdraw from the CCP, the evil was deterred. The police came to understand a bit more about practitioners. We will clarify the truth further to them in the future.
