Israeli Falun Gong practitioners rallied in front of the Chinese embassy in Tel Aviv to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the “April 25” peaceful appeal on April 23, 2023.
Vadim Berestetsky, Chairman of the Israel Falun Dafa Association, said at the rally that the “April 25 Incident” in 1999 shocked the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) deeply. The CCP leaders believed that everyone was afraid of the CCP, and no one would stand up for justice after it had ruled China for decades and massacred millions of Chinese citizens. “However, on April 25, they were surprised to find that millions of Chinese citizens were no longer afraid of the CCP, nor were they willing to believe the lies propagated by the CCP,” said Berestetsky.
Berestetsky pointed out that Falun Gong practitioners paid a huge price for defending “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.” They showed the world that evil is powerless against those who believe in good, darkness is powerless against light, and violence is powerless against compassion.
“The persecution has continued to this day. That’s why we come to the Chinese embassy building today, which represents the evil regime of the CCP. We are here to announce: Stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners!” said Berestetsky.

“This is an example of a peaceful protest, and you are doing the right thing!” a driver passing by the protest said.
