Treasuring My Time Following Master to Cultivate in Falun Dafa

(Minghui.org) I am 73 years old and began to practice Falun Dafa in 2004. Recalling my cultivation path, there is much I could tell. Benevolent Master has been watching me. It's hard to put my gratitude towards Master into mere words.

Fortunate to Obtain Dafa at the End of My Life

I grew up in the countryside. As I had to work very hard in the field, I developed all kinds of illnesses. When my son saw that my health was deteriorating, he asked me to stay with him in the city, so that he could take care of me. But my illnesses continued to worsen. My weight dropped from 132 lb to 80 lb, and I didn’t want to live anymore. I tried unsuccessfully to commit suicide three times. Just before my life was about to end, I encountered Falun Dafa.

The persecution of Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began in July 1999. I married a retired man in 2004. He used to practice Falun Dafa, but due to the persecution, he read the Falun Dafa books, Master’s new articles and did the exercises at home in secret. When he was doing the exercises, I stood behind him watching what he did and tried to copy his movements.

One day, I went to the kitchen and a voice said to me, “You have begun true cultivation.” When I turned around I could not see anyone. At that time, I didn’t know what cultivation was about, I only felt grateful to Master for taking away my illnesses and giving me a new life. Later on, when I began to read Zhuan Falun, I understood that Master was enlightening me.

My husband was very bossy at home. He was in charge of our financial wherewithal and didn’t give me any money to spend. I thought this was unfair. Since I had begun to cultivate, I didn’t fight with him. But because I couldn’t let go of my temper, I ended up crying at night. When I got up in the morning, a bowl of rice on a brown wooden plate had been left for me, and a voice said, “As long as you have something to eat, you are fine.” I cried. Master knew everything that was on my mind. I made Master worry about me again.

From then on, I no longer worried about money and did everything I was supposed to do as a practitioner.

My Entire Family Benefited from Knowing the Truth About Dafa

I have three sons. My oldest son’s child was eight years old. One day, he had a high fever and started to cough. Whatever he ate he vomited, including any medicine. As a result, he didn’t eat for three days. When both my son and daughter-in-law went to work, he thought to himself, “I won’t take any more medication, I’ll go to my grandma’s home.” Then he took a cab to my home.

When he was little, I babysat him a lot. When I studied the Fa, he sat there to listen; when I did the sitting meditation, he copied what I did. However, since he started school, he seldom came to my house. This time, as soon as he came inside the room, he said, “Grandma, please play your little recording machine for me quickly. I want to listen to the Fa.” As soon as he listened to Master’s lecture recordings, my son called, saying, “Mom, is my son at your home? Get him to take his medication, please. Please go buy some for him.”

After I hung up I asked my grandson, “Do you want to take medicine or listen to Master’s lecture recordings?” He quickly said, “I don’t want medicine, I will listen to the Fa!” While listening, he fell asleep. After he woke up, he jumped up excitedly, saying, “Grandma, I’m fine now. I don’t feel any discomfort. I want to eat, because I’m hungry.” I quickly made him his favorite meal. He was very happy and said, “So yummy!”

I asked him, “How did you get better?” He replied, “I got better by listening to Master’s lecture recordings. Master took care of me.” I said, “When you go home, do you dare to tell your parents that you didn’t take any medication, but rather recovered by listening to Master’s Fa? It was Master who took care of you?” He said, “For sure!” After he went home, he indeed said so, which made his parents very happy. After that, the whole family believed in Dafa even more so.

My younger son was staying with me. One night, at midnight, he woke up in pain. He put his hand on his belly and paced back and forth in the room. I asked him what was wrong. He told me about his stomach pain. When I checked his belly I noticed that he was bloated. In fact, his belly was as big as a balloon. I said, “You forgot about reciting the phrases—Falun Dafa is wonderful! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful! Did you?” After he shouted it three times, his belly began to discharge gas. Soon enough, his belly went back to normal. He said excitedly, “Mother, I’m fine now. My pain stopped. Dafa is truly miraculous. I recovered quicker than taking either medication or having injections. Master Li saved me. I am very thankful to Master!”

I went to my hometown to visit my sister in May 2016. I brought a lot of informational materials, DVDs, and a copy of Zhuan Falun. After I went to my sister’s home, there were many people in the house. My oldest niece said, “They all came to see my mother. After they learned that you were here today, they all came over.” After the tables were set and everybody was seated, they held up the cups and said, “A toast to Auntie! Auntie, you have worked very hard!” I quickly responded, “A toast to all of you! Today we are able to come together, because of our predestined relationships. I wanted to tell everyone something: by quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), you will ensure your safety and escape from a calamity!”

I then continued, “Didn’t we all wear the red scarf when we were young? We either joined the Youth League or the Party, held up our fists to make an oath to the degenerate CCP, which was: to surrender our lives to the CCP and devote ourselves to it. Since then, we have been counted as one of its elements and become its scapegoat. For whatever bad deeds it has committed, we have to take a share of the responsibility. Now heaven gives us a chance, the only way for us to protect ourselves is to declare that we quit the CCP and its youth organizations. The purpose is to make the evil oath we took back then null and void, so that we can ensure our safety amidst the calamities that will occur as part of the process of eliminating the CCP. When we quit the Party, it has nothing to do with politics, but rather saving sentient beings. Please remember the phrase Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. When you recite it often, it’ll help keep you healthy and help you steer clear of those calamities. Do you understand what I am saying?”

They all said, “We surely do. Well said! We can’t follow the CCP and become its victims. We’ll quit now.” Then all 17 of them decided to quit the CCP organizations. I felt truly happy for them. It was Master who arranged to have them come to learn the truth and be saved.

My niece’s son was three years old. Because he ate too much meat, he began to cry at midnight, complaining that his belly hurt. So my niece rubbed his stomach and put on a patch for him. But he just kept crying. My niece said, “Before that, as soon as I gave him a patch, his pain stopped. How come it didn’t work today?” Then she held the child and walked back and forth. Her son cried and sweated tremendously. Everybody in the house got up and checked on him.

I said, “Why don’t you pass him to me?” As soon as I said that, the child came to me immediately. I held him, patted his back, and said, “Follow me to recite ‘Falun Dafa is wonderful! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful!’ Everybody, please follow!” Then, after everyone said it three times, the child stopped crying. My niece said, “Come to me, I’ll hold you. Don’t make your granny too tired.” But he didn’t want his mother, saying, “I only want my granny to hold me.”

My niece said, “Aunt, I didn’t believe what you told me before. Even though I quit the Party, it didn’t come from the bottom of my heart, but rather to please you. This time I truly witnessed how wonderful Falun Dafa is! It’s truly saving people! So miraculous! How should I thank you?” I replied, “You should thank our Master. It’s our Master who saves people.” When everyone witnessed the power of Dafa, they all stood up, did Heshi and said, “Thank you, Master!”

People Who Learn the Truth About Dafa Are Also Live Media

One day, I used my cell phone to clarify the facts about Dafa to a young man. As soon as I started talking, he said, “Finally! You don’t have to tell me anything, this is the fifth time I have received a call like this, I’m clear. I’m a Party member, please quickly help me quit it!” I helped him with a pseudonym, and he was very happy. I told him to use some way to also help his family quit. Then he asked me to hold.

He asked a female colleague from another room to come and take the call. He said, “Someone is on the line to help you to ensure your safety and escape from great calamities.” As soon as she came, he quickly passed on the phone to her. I said, “Miss, you are fortunate. You have a good colleague. After he ensured his safety, he didn’t forget about you. He is awesome! Heaven will bless him for sure.”

I told her that in China a big event had happened. People from all over the country, about 200,000 in total, used their true names to contact the Supreme Court and Procuratorate to sue Jiang Zemin. Because Jiang used the CCP to persecute Falun Dafa and gave the order to harvest organs from practitioners for profit. However, Falun Dafa is a Buddha-Law cultivation practice. Whoever persecutes the Buddha Law will be punished by Heaven. When Chinese people joined the CCP organizations, they all swore to devote their lives to the Party. The world over, only the CCP has people take such an evil oath. When Heaven eliminates the CCP, its members will also be punished. For someone to declare that they have quit the CCP is to remove this deadly oath, to separate from the evil organizations, so as to be protected by Heaven.

She said that she understood. She was a Party member and agreed to have me use a pseudonym to help her quit it. Both she and that young man were very appreciative. I said, “If you want to thank someone, please thank my Master! It’s Master Li who saved you!” Both of them said, “Thank you, Master!” I said, “In the end, please remember ‘Falun Dafa is wonderful! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful!’ If you recite it often, you’ll escape from danger and be safe and sound.”

Through this telephone truth-clarification, I came to understand that for me to clarify the facts about Dafa, I must put my heart into it and get the message across properly. When they were clear about the truth, they became a form of living media. Actually only Master saves people, all I did was act upon it.

Persistently Using Kindness to Save Sentient Beings

One afternoon, a fellow practitioner and I teamed up to use our cell phone to clarify the facts. But we couldn’t help anyone quit the Party after having talked to a dozen people. Then the other practitioner said, “Let’s go home.” I said, “I won’t go. I can’t finish my day like that.”

When Master saw my heart to save people, He sent people with a predestined relationship to me. When I called again, a man in his 30s picked up the phone. When I told him about quitting the CCP to ensure one’s safety, he asked, “How did you know my number?” I said, “You received this call because you are a good person.” He said, “I’m not a good person. I only care about money and nothing else. If I were to quit, how much would you pay me? I need money now. Whoever gives me money, I’ll listen to him or her.”

I then said to him, “If I were to give you money, it would not be as good as saving your life. This call is to save your life. As the CCP is an evil specter, it binds you with an oath, yet you are deceived and do not believe in Buddhas and Gods. Quitting the CCP means that you do not acknowledge it, but rather are willing to be on the side of justice and kindness, to be innocent of the CCP’s crimes.”

I then talked to him about the reason why one needs to quit the CCP, despite hardship, regardless of whether it was under the scorching sun, or freezing cold weather, practitioners risked their lives to use all kinds of ways to tell the precious Chinese people to quickly learn the truth and be saved.

He asked, “Did you spend a lot of money on those calls? Is your monthly income high?” I said, “I don’t have any pension. My husband passed away. I only receive a monthly allowance of 196 yuan. I usually can’t afford to buy any fruit or good clothes. I only want to use my money to save our precious Chinese people.”

He cried and said, “My auntie, please don’t say anything else, we all want to quit. I have another six people right beside me, they were all listening to you and are moved to tears by you. All of them nodded their heads to show their agreement to quit the Party. We’ll do so with our real names.”

They told me that they didn’t want to take anything from good people, but only corrupt officials. I said, “No, you can’t. Heaven has its arrangements. You can’t continue to do bad things. You are still young, you must find a job and support yourself. That way you can have a sound sleep at night.” They said, “Sure, we’ll listen to you and try to find work tomorrow.”

Out of the seven of them, the oldest one is 32 years old, whereas the youngest is only 17 years old. If not because of benevolent Master arranging for them to be saved, it’s not hard to imagine what would be waiting for them, for the bad deeds they had committed. I did Heshi to thank Master!
