(Minghui.org) May 13, 2023, was the 31st anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and the 24th World Falun Dafa Day. Falun Dafa practitioners held events all over the world to celebrate this special day and introduce the practice to others.

Celebration in Southern Florida, U.S.
Falun Gong practitioners from the southern region of Florida went to the beautiful beach of Fort Lauderdale on May 13, 2023, to practice the exercises to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.
Falun Gong practitioners wish Master Li a happy birthday.
Kevin Kupec, a Fort Lauderdale resident, said, “I thought it was Tai Chi at first, and it looked like Tai Chi movements. I am very interested in meditation.” He said he wanted to improve his body and improve his spirit through meditation.
Kupec had seen reports about the persecution of Falun Gong in China from news outlets before, but this was the first time he had seen for himself Falun Gong practitioners practicing the exercises. He said the persecution of Falun Gong is a crime of genocide.
Felis Fernandez
Felis Fernandez fled Venezuela to the United States 14 years ago. He had taken his whole family to the beach to watch the sunrise that day. Fernandez watched the Falun Gong practitioners doing the exercises quietly on the beach and took pictures with great interest.
It was the first time he had heard of Falun Dafa. “I am very interested, and I will definitely do some research when I go back,” he said.
After hearing about the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa in China, he said, “The Chinese government is suppressing [Falun Gong practitioners]. This is a group of kind and peaceful people, they don’t hurt anyone, they deserve to be free!”
Celebration in Washington State
Falun Gong practitioners from Seattle and the surrounding areas gathered in Bellevue Downtown Park, a tourist attraction in Seattle. They practiced the exercises together to celebrate the 31st anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa.
Bellevue Downtown Park is a 21-acre oasis that has become a go-to place for community events and family gatherings. People often go there for dinner and recreation on the weekend.

Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises in the park and set up display boards with Falun Gong information. The public learned that from 1999 to 2023, for 24 years, Falun Gong practitioners all over the world have called for an end to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) persecution and peacefully protested for freedom of belief in China.
Celebration in Malaysia
From April 30 to May 1, 2023, practitioners in the Southern Region of Malaysia, held waist drum performances and exercise demonstrations to introduce Falun Dafa to the public.
