(Minghui.org) May 13, 2023 was the 31st anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and the 24th World Falun Dafa Day. Ten elected officials in the New England area issued proclamations or letters to mark the occasion.

Proclamation from Governor Christopher Sununu of New Hampshire, proclaiming May 13, 2023, “Falun Dafa Day” in the state.

The proclamation reads, “Falun Dafa, also called Falun Gong, is a peaceful spiritual practice rooted in traditional Chinese culture. It consists of five gentle sets of exercises, and a moral philosophy centered on the values of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance, which practitioners take as a guide to their daily lives.”

“Today, Falun Gong is practiced in over 100 countries worldwide by people of all ages and backgrounds and is always taught free of charge by volunteers and can be practiced individually or in groups.”

“Falun Dafa practitioners throughout the world dedicate countless hours to contributing to their communities by participating in local parades and street fairs, organizing free meditation and exercise classes, thousands of which have been offered in libraries, senior centers, public parks, and health clubs, as well as corporate offices and private residences.”
