Police Officer in China: Falun Gong Is the Only Hope for China

(Minghui.org) Police officer Jiang (pseudonym) in China received a call from Ms. Li Jing, a volunteer at the Quitting the CCP Hotline in Toronto, Canada. Ms. Li clarified the truth to him. After many conversations over the past few months, officer Jiang learned more about Falun Gong and the persecution and quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He began to read Falun Gong books and learned the five exercises.

During their conversations, officer Jiang told Ms. Li about many of the ways that the CCP uses to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. After reading Master Li Hongzhi’s (Dafa’s founder) recent article “How Humankind Came To Be,” he exclaimed, “Falun Gong is China’s only hope! Only Falun Gong can save China!”

Officer Jiang told Ms. Li that it might have been predestined that he become a policeman because he could learn the truth about the CCP since his internet access was never censored. “For example, I read the book on Jiang Zemin (the former head of the CCP who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong) and watched the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party videos produced by NTDTV. I also watched NTDTV and Epoch Times videos exposing the CCP’s evil deeds. So I can see the true nature of the CCP very clearly—and it isn’t good.”

Patrol Police Ignore Criminals and Seize the Innocent

Officer Jiang told Ms. Li, “In February this year, the patrol police were notified that there was a fight but then they got a report about a Falun Gong practitioner putting up a notice in a scenic area. They went to catch the Falun Gong practitioner and ignored the people fighting. If someone dies in the fight, the police don’t care. Instead, they will arrest the Falun Gong practitioner.

“Look at what the banners in the police station offices say: ‘Serve the People’ and ‘For the Safety of the Area.’ The actual situation is that they are often called out to instances of domestic violence, and some wives are beaten to death. But the police don’t care. Many people can’t see the fundamental problem, and if the CCP doesn’t collapse, China won’t be able to solve the fundamental problem,” he said.

He said that patrol police often go out in plainclothes to crowded places and pretend to be tourists so that they can arrest whoever they see distributing Falun Gong materials.

“I know a Falun Gong practitioner surnamed Li in her 60s. She went to scenic spots to put up banners and articles. She was very smart and went when it was foggy so that the surveillance cameras would not be able to get a clear image of her. But she was reported and later imprisoned. They don’t arrest the bad guys, just the good people,” he said.

“When they search Falun Gong practitioners’ homes, the police use the same tactics used to search for drugs. They search for truth-clarification materials very hard, but they don’t search for drugs that seriously. The persecution of Falun Gong in my city (a city in Shandong) is still very serious. The law enforcement officers are more vicious than the criminals, so what loyalty and justice can there be?”

Falun Gong Is the Only Hope for China

When officer Jiang developed a cough and had difficulty breathing, he told Ms. Li, “I’ve been infected with COVID.” Ms. Li suggested that he download the Falun Gong exercise teaching video from the Internet and follow along. His symptoms amazingly disappeared within a few days.

After reading the article, “How Humankind Came To Be,” he said that he had many reactions. “Thousands of words can be combined into one sentence, ‘I love Falun Gong!’ Another one: ‘Only Falun Gong can save China!’”

Due to his work, officer Jiang has met many Falun Gong practitioners. He expressed his admiration for their courage and said, “Falun Gong saved me, so I will distribute materials to save others.”

When he read “How Humankind Came To Be,” he said, “I had it printed and then distributed it in some safe places, because I know which intersection cameras are fake and which cameras are real.

“Falun Gong practitioners often go to intersections to clarify the truth, and the cameras there are all real. At first, I was worried that my wife would object. She is a professional in the medical field, but she also feels helpless in the current troubled times. After reading the article, she was very excited and felt very good. She then posted the article more actively than me. In fact, it is our honor to be able to do this.

“I think the current society is so chaotic that it is no longer a normal human society. Falun Gong really is China’s only hope.”

Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises have experienced improved health and well-being.

Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology, and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.

Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 24 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.

There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
