Additional Persecution News from China – February 8, 2023 (6 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 42 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
2. [Puning City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Miaozhu Placed Under Official Arrest
3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] The Case Against Ms. Liu Feng’e Submitted to the Court
4. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhu Yafen Arrested
5. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Face Trial
6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lin Haixia Arrested

1. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Luan Dewu and three other practitioners were reported to the police for distributing information about Falun Gong and were arrested by officers from the Shuanglong Police Station on the evening of February 6, 2023. They are currently detained in the Gongzhuling Detention Center.

2. [Puning City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Miaozhu Placed Under Official Arrest

Ms. Li Miaozhu was placed under official arrest on January 17, 2023.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] The Case Against Ms. Liu Feng’e Submitted to the Court

Ms. Liu Feng’e from West Coast New District, as well as more than 30 other practitioners, were arrested on September 26, 2022. Ms. Liu’s case is now in the Huangdao District Court.

4. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhu Yafen Arrested

Ms. Zhu Yafen was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong in the Shuangyan Shopping Center in the Xinfu District and was arrested by three officers from the Qianjin Police Station on February 1, 2023.

5. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Face Trial

Five practitioners, including Ms. Sun Peiying, Ms. Chi Guilan, Ms. Chen Xiulan, Ms. Ma Shuyan, and Ms. Liu Zhaoqing, will be tried by the Gaomi City Court on February 24, 2023. The practitioners were arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lin Haixia Arrested

Ms. Lin Haixia was arrested by officers from the Silian Street Police Station on the afternoon of May 27, 2022 for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was injured when she was forced into the police car. Her right leg was injured by the car door. Her home was ransacked.
