(Minghui.org) There are three parts to China’s judiciary: the public security system, which is responsible for making arrests; the procuratorate, which is responsible for indicting suspects; and the courts, which are responsible for hearing suspects’ cases and issuing verdicts.

During the past 24 years of the persecution of Falun Dafa, the judicial system has been used as a rubber stamp to carry out the Chinese Communist Party’s policy aimed at eradicating Falun Dafa. The police often arrest practitioners without probable cause, the procuratorates indict practitioners without any legal basis, and the courts hand down pre-determined prison sentences to practitioners.

Falun Dafa practitioners who work in the judicial system have put forth efforts to help their colleagues understand the illegality of the persecution. Many police officers, prosecutors, and judges have thus stopped actively carrying out the persecution policy and even done everything in their power to protect practitioners being targeted for arrests and prosecution.

In honor of the New Year 2024, Falun Dafa practitioners who work in China’s judicial system, as well as their coworkers who have become their staunch supporters, sent in their best wishes to Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, for a Happy New Year.

One official who does not practice Falun Dafa wrote, “Due to the nature of my job, I encountered many Falun Dafa practitioners and came to see that Falun Dafa is righteous and the Chinese Communist Party is evil. I believe many Chinese people like me have become more and more aware of the regime’s true colors. I urge my colleagues who are still participating in the persecution to stop committing crimes against innocent practitioners. Good and evil are rewarded accordingly and perpetrators will face consequences sooner or later.”
