I’m seventy-nine years old, and I began practicing Falun Dafa twenty years ago. I have little education but I was fortunate enough to find Falun Dafa, and Master gave me wisdom.
Clarifying the Truth
My life is simple but very fulfilling. I do the exercises every morning, clarify the truth, study the Fa, and send righteous thoughts.
I usually call China to clarify the truth and help rescue detained practitioners. At first, I didn’t know how to use a computer. The other practitioners patiently taught me, and after many failures, I’m now more proficient.
I value the time to awaken people, and I start calling China as soon as I return home from the exercise site.
I told one man I called about the truth of the persecution and advised him to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He said, “The CCP is so bad, how can I quit it?” I said he could use a pseudonym or his real name, and it would not affect his work. I explained that more than 400 million people in China have already quit the CCP. He said, “Then I will withdraw under my real name.” When I told him always to recite the nine auspicious words (Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good), he said he knew Falun Dafa was good.
I also told the truth to prosecutors and judges in China, urging them to quit the CCP. I said I hoped everyone in every position would be saved and understand the truth. I realized I could only be worthy of being a Dafa disciple if I used every opportunity to tell the truth.
Promoting Shen Yun
Master said,
“Among all the projects of saving people, Shen Yun has the most power in saving people.” (“Teaching the Fa in Washington D.C. In 2018”, Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XV)
The Shen Yun performances are eagerly awaited in Taiwan. I have been involved in promoting Shen Yun every year. I realized I had to do it wholeheartedly and follow the requirements without inserting my ideas.
One person said he was upset that he couldn’t see Shen Yun three years ago because of the COVID pandemic. I told him not to miss this year’s show, and he happily bought a ticket.
One lady said that her son, an aboriginal singer, recommended she see Shen Yun. She said she wanted to see Shen Yun but needed help walking. We told her that she could be transported in a wheelchair. She was happy and touched and said, “You people who promote Shen Yun are so kind and compassionate. This is the happiest day of my life.”
After hearing our introduction, another man who was passing by purchased tickets on the spot.
I also contacted a former practitioner. Although she had left Dafa, I encouraged her not to miss the opportunity to see Shen Yun. She said that it would be the happiest thing to see Shen Yun again.
When I went to the market, I told everyone I met about Shen Yun. Some people wanted to buy tickets after hearing my introduction.
Before, I just helped deliver Shen Yun tickets. Compassionate Master’s successive arrangements for these people to buy tickets strengthened my confidence to continue working hard to promote tickets.
Master said,
“The cultivation is up to you, gong is up to the master.” (Lecture One, Zhuan Falun)
I realized that as long as we have the heart to save lives Master will help us.
After watching Shen Yun, many audience members immediately booked tickets for the following year. They said they would invite more people to come and watch Shen Yun. Many people started practicing Falun Dafa after watching the show or told their friends and family about Falun Dafa.
Promoting Ganjing World
I did not know how to tell people about Ganjing World, so I memorized the introduction.
We first went to visit businesses. One staff member didn’t accept it and said that it was not easy to explain to the store owners. I was not discouraged and sent forth righteous thoughts when I got home to eliminate all the negative elements that interfered with the introduction of Ganjing World.
We returned to the store the next day and after buying a few things, we told the store clerk that our promotion would not affect their business. The clerk said, “That’s fine.” He invited us to sit down and take a break.
After introducing the contents of Ganjing World, we asked people to scan the QR code. We asked them to take a picture holding a sign that said “Kindness Lights Up Taiwan,” they were very willing to participate.
One young man said, “I don’t have my phone with me, I’ll go back and download it. Then he bought several bottles of mineral water and said, “Auntie, it’s so hot. Thank you for your hard work!” It’s summer in Taiwan and the weather is sweltering, but when I saw people’s smiles after they saw the Ganjing World platform, my heart felt like a cool spring had washed over it. I wasn’t hot or uncomfortable.
Improving Myself
I live with my son and daughter-in-law. We sometimes had conflicts, and I complained about them. I realized that I should look inward. As a practitioner, my mind should be filled with Dafa’s teachings, not chaotic things. After I hand-copied and read the nine auspicious words, I calmed down.
I want to cultivate myself and forgive others. Because I have attained Dafa, I am the happiest person.
Conclusion
Master said,
“While Master is saving you, He also bears your sins for you and even finds all kinds of ways to offset your karma—it is you who is indebted to Master. Don’t think that just because you’ve clarified the truth, attended some Dafa activities, or participated in Dafa projects that you’ve done something for Dafa or for Master. That’s Master telling you to mutually save and help each other, to save others while saving yourself—this is sentient beings saving each other at the end times.” (Stay Far Away From Peril)
Master’s compassion awakened me. I talked to my two granddaughters, who are practitioners, and we realized that we weren’t practicing as diligently as we used to. We should practice as we used to and not make Master worry about us. As Dafa disciples, we must study the Fa, cultivate ourselves, improve our character, and follow Master’s arrangement to save more sentient beings.
