The Power of Falun Dafa – Multiple Family Members Experience Healing

(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in October 1998. Soon after I began to practice, myocarditis and chronic complications acquired following childbirth disappeared without medication. I have been healthy ever since. My other family members have also benefited from Dafa. Below are some of their stories.

Daughter’s Malignant Brain Tumor Disappeared

My daughter stayed at school to prepare for the graduate school entrance examination in the summer of 2007. One day, her face swelled, and she experienced headache, nausea, and other symptoms. A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) result indicated that she had a germ cell tumor, larger than three inches in size, in her skull. The doctor said that it could only be treated with radiotherapy. I was shocked at the news, as if being struck by thunder, and burst into tears.

My husband calmly said, “Let’s find out what to do first. If nothing works, let her practice the exercises with you.” “Yes, I have Master Li (Dafa’s founder) by my side and I will practice the Falun Dafa exercises with our daughter,” I replied.

My daughter has read Zhuan Falun and some of Master’s articles. She knows that Dafa is good. But her excuse for not practicing it was that she was too busy to cultivate and would start once she graduated from college and got a job.

My daughter was admitted to a hospital specializing in cancer treatment. When we visited her days later, she said that she had been reciting “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day. I was happy for her. I knew that Master must have protected her and endured karma for her. Otherwise, how could she not feel the pain from the big tumor in her head?

My daughter underwent two radiotherapy treatments and was hospitalized for about a week. She started practicing Falun Dafa after she was discharged. She studied the Fa and did the exercises with me. She had no discomfort. She continued the practice after she went back to school on September 1. The following spring, the blurred vision and inability to open her eyes recurred. The doctor told her that the tumor had not regrown, but he could not do anything about her vision.

The situation worsened after she came home. She couldn’t see things clearly. Her eyes stung and teared, and her eyelids drooped. She was too weak to walk, and wet the bed at night sometimes. But I was not too worried. I knew it was because she hadn’t kept up with the Fa and improved her xinxing. I told her to practice more diligently, as Dafa can help predestined persons who are truly cultivating themselves. She studied the Fa with her aunt during the day while I worked. She also did the exercises and studied the Fa with me in the morning and evening.

In the beginning, my daughter could only read a few pages of Zhuan Falun a day because she experienced frequent and productive coughing. I told her that Master was cleansing her body, and she was very happy. After a while, she was able to study the Fa in a relaxed and normal manner. Her symptoms gradually alleviated and completely disappeared about three weeks later. A terminal disease, which could not be cured by modern medicine, completely disappeared by just studying the Fa and practicing the exercises for a period of time. It was really a miracle!

My daughter now works in finance for a private company. We thanked Master for taking care of her.

Husband Benefited from Dafa

My husband had chronic otitis media, which caused frequent discharge of pus and interfered with his ability to hear clearly in both ears. He had sought folk remedies and medical treatment at many large hospitals, but nothing helped. After I started practicing, the frequency of pus discharge diminished and finally vanished. His hearing also improved a lot.

My husband caught colds very often. The symptoms were so severe each time that he had to take medicines. After I started to practice Falun Dafa, he hardly ever had a fever. Even if he had a cold, it was a mild one, and he got over it quickly without medicine.

He also suffered from varicose veins in his lower limbs, and circulation in some areas was quite compromised. In the summer of 2022, red bumps appeared in the most severely affected area. I told him to sincerely recite the two auspicious Falun Dafa phrases. At that time, my father-in-law, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, had a lump on his face and was admitted to the hospital. The lump ruptured and broke open, oozing pus continuously.

My husband went to take care of his father. He often sat by his bed, held his hand, and recited the Falun Dafa phrases repeatedly for an hour or more. I only occasionally brought them some food and supplies due to strict government pandemic regulations. He told me that his father also had benefited from Dafa. For such a big wound, his father never complained of pain except during dressing changes. My father-in-law was later able to relax in his bed peacefully.

When my husband returned home, he found that the red bumps on his legs and the varicose veins were all gone. He had recited the Falun Dafa words to relieve his father’s pain, and his varicose veins were also cured unexpectedly. Indeed, a person who does good deeds for others would also receive blessings.

Son Recovered from Sinusitis

My son could read several parts of a poem in Hong Yin and one or two passages in “On Dafa” when he was in kindergarten.

One day, he had a fever and was sent home. His face was pale and deformed. His submandibular lymph nodes were very swollen. His temperature was almost 104°F. The doctor said that he had acute lymphadenitis and a medical infusion treatment was needed. Worried about his age, we only gave him some medicines and took him home.

After we got home, I held him in my arms and we listened to Master’s lectures together. He fell asleep for two or three hours while listening to the Fa. As soon as he woke up, he said that he was fine. Sure enough, his face was ruddy and he was very energetic. The swollen lymph nodes were gone. Listening to the Fa was better and more effective than taking a drug infusion. I witnessed the miracle of Dafa once again.

One day in June 2007, my son complained of a headache and felt uncomfortable. I was out of town at the time. My husband took him to the hospital and an X-ray confirmed that he had sinusitis. He was given Chinese medicine, but it did not help. When I came back, I studied the Fa with him. During the Fa study, he sweated profusely, emanating the smell of the Chinese medicine he had taken earlier. Later, his sinusitis was cured and his headache disappeared as well. But the sweating continued until the smell of Chinese medicine disappeared completely.

Sinusitis is an intractable disease, and no expert dares to say if they can cure it. But my son completely recovered from this disease just by studying the Fa.
