(Minghui.org) Practitioners participated in an annual event at the Kita Ward Civic Center in Osaka, Japan on November 19, 2023. They introduced Falun Dafa and exposed the truth behind the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) ongoing persecution. They also demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises on stage and gave a waist-drum performance, bringing a festive note to the event.

The Kita Ward Civic Center has been providing a free classroom for practitioners to teach the Falun Dafa exercises. Many Japanese have had the opportunity to learn about and practice Falun Dafa. After reading the information about Falun Dafa during the event, many more people were interested in learning the exercises.
Kita Ward is a bustling commercial district and an important political, economic, and cultural hub. The annual event that celebrates volunteers is attended by various local organizations from the community that are dedicated to public service. Falun Dafa practitioners are one of these community groups.

Besides showing people the exercises, practitioners taught people how to fold paper lotus flowers. Many staff members followed the practitioners’ exercise movements and did the exercises with them. One man said that he felt very relaxed after practicing the exercises. An elderly lady said she felt something rotating in her abdomen while she did the first exercise.

Mr. Nagayama brought his child to the event and said he had learned a bit about Falun Dafa before, but did not know that the persecution was still going on, “It’s so horrible. This is unforgivable. This is not tolerable.”

Mr. Toki said he wished from the bottom of his heart that the persecution will end soon. He also hopes for peace in the world.
