The Mighty Power of Righteous Thoughts

(Minghui.org) When we suddenly come across tribulations or interference on our cultivation path we should remember the Fa. The Fa can help us maintain righteous thoughts and enable us to pass tribulations. I’d like to share two examples.

Stop the 610 Office from Harassing Me

One day in May 2017 I came home with a bag filled with Falun Dafa fliers. I put the bag on my bed and went to the restroom. Someone knocked on the door and my husband opened it without thinking. Six agents from the 610 Office charged in and wanted to check my bedroom.

Calm and composed, I looked at all of them, stared straight at the lead agent, and said, “Falun Dafa practitioners are honest and trustworthy. You searched my home just a few days ago, and here you are again. Are you going to continue doing such illegal searches forever? I told you last time that you are committing a crime. Besides, you haven’t returned the Falun Dafa books you confiscated from me last time. You need to return what is rightfully mine.”

The lead agent did not say anything. As he turned around and left, his people followed him out. I went after them and shouted, “When can I go get my books back?” He said, “Next Tuesday.” When I called on Tuesday, he pushed it back another week.

The day I went to the 610 Office, I took a flier about the illegality of the nationwide “Knocking on doors” harassment campaign. I asked the lead agent to read it carefully and I clarified the truth to him. His phone rang before I could finish, and he said that he had an emergency assignment.

“Where are my books?” I asked. He stepped out and returned with a tray filled with the books and fliers he confiscated from me. I told him they were mine and picked them up. He got nervous and said that I couldn’t have all of them. When he saw I had no intention of giving them back, he said, “Fine” and kept the fliers. I told him, “You should read them and we can discuss the contents later.”

As I left the 610 Office, I saw a fellow practitioner sending righteous thoughts for me. I believe our powerful righteous power dissolved the evil behind the 610 Office agent.

Narrowly Escaping Arrest

In the summer of 2018, three other practitioners and I went to a village to distribute Falun Dafa fliers. Because we had so many to deliver, we decided to just put them outside people’s doors and not talk to them. We originally thought that most people would be inside in the hot summer afternoon. To our surprise, clouds gathered, and it was cool and breezy. Most of the houses had their front doors wide open, and people were outside chatting and laughing in small groups. It wasn’t an ideal situation for us to distribute the fliers, and I only gave out three on one street.

With a bag full of fliers, I decided to take a different approach. On the next street I greeted and handed the fliers to people I met. If there was no one around, I hung the fliers on their doorknobs. I quickly gave out all the fliers I had.

After I finished that street, I met Bing, who told me that she didn’t have much chance to give out the fliers because everyone was sitting outside. I told her what I did and took half of her fliers. We went to another street and we each covered one side. As soon as we were done, a bus came. I was thankful for Master’s timely arrangement, as the buses only came once an hour or so.

Just as we got on the bus, I heard someone behind me say, “Someone called the police on those two [meaning Bing and me].” I worried about the other two practitioners who came with us, since I had no idea where they went. We got on the bus and sent righteous thoughts. We then politely asked the bus driver if he would stop and pick up “our friends” when we saw them, knowing that he was not supposed to make unscheduled stops.

Shortly after, we saw the two practitioners chasing the bus, and the driver stopped and picked them up. They had both given out all of their fliers. Later I heard from the villagers that a police car arrived right after the bus left. We all got home safely thanks to Master’s protection.
