“Finally I Found You Today”

(Minghui.org) Practitioners from Ireland have been clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to Chinese people since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution of Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa). They tell people what Falun Dafa is, why the CCP persecutes the Falun Gong practitioners, how the CCP harms Chinese people, and why people should withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations.

One day in Dublin’s city center, Falun Dafa practitioner Yanglin (alias) saw a young Chinese man waiting for a bus at a bus stop. She went over to him and gave him a Falun Dafa flyer. He accepted it and talked with Yanglin. He said that he had asked his roommate if there were any Falun Dafa practitioners in Ireland. His roommate told him that he often saw them giving out fliers in the city center.

“Finally I found you,” said the young man. “I thought Falun Dafa practitioners were all old people. But you look young.” Yanglin smiled and asked if he had heard of Falun Dafa. “I read Falun Dafa materials in China but didn’t know how to practice it,” he said. Yanglin told him that he could learn online or practice with the practitioners.

She also advised him to repeat the two phrases, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” to keep himself safe when facing catastrophes or danger. He accepted what she said.

He said that he didn’t know that the CCP had abused human rights or how badly it has done so until he went to Ireland.

Yanglin said, “The CCP fights against the heaven and earth, and is inhumane. It has been persecuting its own people since it took power. In the political campaigns one after another, it incited masses to fight against each other, and it was especially targeting landlords, business owners, and intellectuals. It killed students on June 4, 1989, and framed them as thugs. It started to persecute Falun Dafa in 1999, and staged the Tiananmen self-immolation incident to frame the practice. It tramples on people's human rights, and harms numerous lives in each political movement.”

He listened attentively and acknowledged what Yanglin said. She asked him to read the pamphlet she gave him and explained why people should quit the CCP. He understood and agreed to quit his membership in the Young Pioneers he once joined.

Different Attitude in Two Encounters

Yanglin once saw an elderly couple exiting a Chinese market. She approached them and chatted with them about Falun Dafa. They said that they were not interested because they were atheists. Yanglin asked them, “Why do Chinese people pray for divine blessings when they have illnesses and encounter catastrophes?” They became speechless when asked this question.

When Yanglin saw them again, they had changed. She said, “I remember you. I’d like to continue to chat with you. You see the CCP has done all sorts of bad things. You know so many people were wronged and died during the ten years of the Cultural Revolution.”

The man said, “I have experienced all of the political movements. Taking Falun Dafa for example, I have friends who were arrested and persecuted to death.” He became emotional.

Yanglin responded, “You know they were persecuted to death because of their faith. You see the Christians were persecuted for 300 years, and so many of them died from the persecution they experienced. Falun Dafa practitioners were persecuted to death because of their belief also.”

He nodded his head and agreed. Yanglin explained why people should withdraw from the CCP. He agreed to quit the CCP and took the flier she offerred him.
