(Minghui.org) Practitioners held two events in Istanbul recently on October 14 and 21 to introduce Falun Dafa. Many people stopped to learn about the practice. Some learned to do the exercises and said they were amazed by the energy they felt.
Dentist: I Really Like Falun Dafa
Practitioners held an event at the Ecological Life Center in Kadıköy, a neighborhood in southwestern Istanbul, on October 14. Many people were interested when they learned how practicing Falun Dafa improves practitioners’ minds and bodies. They were shocked to learn how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) brutally suppresses Falun Dafa in China. Some learned the five sets of exercises on site.

Dentist Handan Yücel said that he was really impressed by Falun Dafa. “I like the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance and people can learn the practice free of charge,” he said. “Falun Dafa is really good and practitioners are very nice.”
Hülya said, “I can see the practitioners’ aura through my third eye and Falun Dafa has very strong energy.” It took some time for her to learn the exercises, but she was very happy.
“Goodness Should Not Be Taken Away”
Practitioners held activities on a beach near the Chinese Consulate in Istanbul on October 21. Many passersby accepted brochures during the three-hour event and some chatted with practitioners.

Feride Şahin works as an accounting supervisor at a private company. She and her niece Asya learned the exercises. Despite the hot weather that day, they learned attentively. “The exercises are very peaceful,” Şahin said. “The practice is very good for me. I would like to do it again.”

Bekir Bayraktar, 56, is retired. He said, “I hope people can respect and honor each other. What the CCP does is terrible. Goodness should not be taken away. In fact, the CCP stirs up conflict and hatred, and ruins the country.”
