China Fahui | Clarifying the Truth with Compassion and Hurrying to Awaken People

When I saw the “Call for Articles for the 20^th China Fahui on Minghui.org,” I was deeply moved. It’s already the 20^th Fahui but I’ve never written an experience-sharing article. I was hindered by my notion that I only had 3 years of primary school education and could not write.

My Positive Changes After I Started Practicing Falun Dafa

I’m 72 years old. I was born in a village in Heilongjiang Province in China in 1952. I am the eldest of 9 children. Because my family was very poor, I had to work in the field when I was 14 years old. The labor work was hard. As time went on, my health deteriorated and I suffered from many illnesses.

I married at the age of 24. My husband was stationed at a military base so I had to raise our children myself. I also had to work in the fields, tend the gardens, and feed the chickens and pigs. I had to chop firewood for cooking and do all the household chores.

After six years I was allowed to move in with my husband, but my health was poor. My husband was later transferred to work in a civilian work unit in the city. My two children grew up and had a good education. But my health kept deteriorating. I had headaches and heart problems. My body was swollen. I went to various doctors but nothing helped. I even went to see folk medicine doctors and witches. My illnesses were not healed—instead, I had spirit possession. I cursed people and beat them, and I targeted my family. I was mentally broken and didn’t want to live.

My children worried about me. People tried to persuade my husband to divorce me. But my husband didn’t listen to them and looked after me. No matter how badly I treated him, he continued to be good to me. Sometimes I felt guilty and regretted the way I treated him. But when the spirit started to possess me, I couldn’t control myself and went to his workplace to argue with him. He felt he lost face and wanted to commit suicide.

I was scared and threw away the things I worshiped. One day I was lying in bed and I didn’t know what to do. I was surprised to see a big Chinese character “double happiness” on the wall. I thought I was dreaming. I rubbed my eyes and took a closer look. The character was still there. I felt so happy because I had hope. Afterward, the spirit no longer harmed me.

A friend came to see me one day. She told me that there was a video session of a qigong Master and asked me if I wanted to go. I was not interested as I had practiced many forms of qigong and visited various hospitals yet my illnesses were not cured. She tried to persuade me to go with her. As she was my best friend, I was not able to refuse her, so I went.

After I arrived, I felt very comfortable. I watched the video the whole afternoon. My heart was opened up. I wasn’t agitated anymore and no longer felt bitter. I told my husband and children that Master Li’s (Dafa’s founder) lectures were very good. I asked them to attend the next session. They agreed and attended the next video lecture session.

That was June 1995. I decided to practice Falun Dafa. The practice site was near my home. My two children practiced with me as well. I obtained the Fa! I became well mentally and physically. I changed. I could cook, wash clothes and take care of all the household chores. One of his coworkers asked my husband why I no longer went to his workplace to argue with him. My husband told him that I became good after I practiced Falun Dafa. He said, “It must be very good because it even changed your wife! Please ask your wife to introduce Falun Dafa to my wife.” The director of his workplace also admired Dafa.

My husband was completely convinced that Falun Dafa changed me and that Master saved our family. He was very thankful to Master and Dafa. He later started practicing.

Clarifying the Truth and Saving Sentient Beings

Old Woman Who Collected Junk: I Have Hope

I noticed an old woman collecting junk at a bus stop one day, and I chatted with her. I told her how wonderful Falun Dafa was and how far and wide it spread. She asked who my Master was. I explained. She listened attentively and didn’t get on the bus when it came. She continued listening to me. I told her how corrupt the CCP was, how it harmed people, and why it was doomed to be eliminated. I explained that whoever joined the CCP’s membership and its affiliated organizations was in danger.

She was moved to tears and said, “I met a good person today. I will have good luck from now on. I will not worry. Do you know that I don’t have a husband and live with my child? I make a living by collecting junk. I am so lucky that you told me such a great thing. I can be saved. Falun Dafa saves me. Please thank your Master for me!”

When the bus came, she cried and said she didn’t know when she would see me again and didn’t want to leave.

Father and Son Withdrew from the CCP

One day I went out to a morning market with another practitioner. We met a father and son who ran a welding business. I clarified the truth to the father. He thanked us and asked if Falun Dafa came to save people. He believed what we told him and agreed to withdraw from the Young Pioneers, one of the CCP’s affiliated organizations he joined.

I then talked to the son and told him how wonderful Falun Dafa is, what the CCP did to people, and why people should quit. He refused to quit. We left. After I walked a few steps, a question popped up in my mind: Would I walk away if this man was my son? My answer was no. Why didn’t I go back and talk to him again? Who would save him if I left? I would regret it.

I went back and told him that I felt bad because I didn’t save him and I couldn’t leave. He conjoined his hands to pay respect to me as soon as I said this. He bowed and was about to kneel down. I stopped him. He bowed to me again and said, “I joined the Youth League. Please help me withdraw.” I told him to remember, “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and he would be safe if disasters came. He said he would definitely remember.

Rectifying My Laziness

One day I didn’t want to go out to clarify the truth to people as I was tired from doing chores. But when I thought that so many people were still waiting to be saved, I wept. I must go out and shouldn’t be lazy. Even if I only saved one person, I should go out to clarify the truth to people even though it was already dark.

I saw a man in the street. I stopped him and asked him if he heard of Falun Dafa and if anyone told him about quitting the CCP. Then I explained to him how wonderful Falun Dafa was, why our Master asked us to save people, what the CCP had done to its own people, and how it lied. I also explained how the CCP framed Falun Dafa. He agreed and said the CCP lies.

He agreed to withdraw membership from the Young Pioneers and wanted to thank Master. I gave him some truth-clarifying materials and asked him to read them. He placed them in his pocket and thanked me.

I talked to many people that day. All of them agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Some people said that Falun Dafa was truly wonderful and that practitioners were remarkable.

Not Missing a Single Person

I took every opportunity to clarify the truth to people. I realized that I missed opportunities when I didn’t study the Fa well.

One day a person asked me for directions. As I was in a hurry, I told him how to get to his destination but didn’t clarify the truth to him. I regretted it so much.

I realized that it was a good lesson for me to learn, and I should not miss any opportunities going forward. Whether the person accepted the facts or not, I must tell him and offer him the opportunity to choose.

One day I talked to a lady about Dafa on the bus. She didn’t quite understand and got off the bus. I got off with her and continued chatting. I then talked to the lady that was with her. She admired me very much and asked if I got off the bus because I wanted to continue clarifying the truth to her. She exclaimed that Falun Dafa was so wonderful.

I talked to a man who was in a hurry and said, “We must be predestined to meet. I must tell you something important.” He then asked me what the important thing was. I talked to him about Dafa and he agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

I don’t know how many people I helped withdraw from the CCP. I went out to talk to people about Dafa almost every day. A few years ago, other practitioners and I worked together and helped 40 or 50 people withdraw from the CCP every day. Sometimes we went to schools and helped quite a few students withdraw from the Youth League and Young Pioneers.

Clarifying Truth to People from All Walks of Life

Letting Go of Fear

One day I went to a shopping mall with a practitioner. I saw one person who looked fierce. I passed him and walked about 100 meters before I realized that I should talk to him about Dafa. I asked myself why I didn’t stop and talk to him. It was because I was afraid he would report me to the police.

He had a big scar on his face. I said, “I didn’t stop to talk to you just now because I felt a bit afraid when I saw the big scar on your face. After I walked away, I felt bad. Why didn’t I tell you the truth about Falun Dafa? Because I was afraid that you would report me to the police.” He burst into laughter when he heard what I said. “What do you want to tell me?” He asked. I then clarified the truth to him. He happily agreed to withdraw from the CCP. He said he worked in a shopping mall.

Clarifying the Truth to a Policeman

One day I asked a man where he worked. He said that he was a retired policeman. I clarified the truth to policemen before. Some agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Some refused. Nowadays most of the policemen wear plain clothes so I can’t tell. I hesitated when I heard he was a policeman. Should I tell him the truth? Would he report me? “Some policemen are good people,” he said. I realized that he had a predestined relationship with Falun Dafa. Master used him to give me a hint. I shouldn’t be selfish or worried.

I said, “I previously talked to policemen and told them the facts about Falun Dafa. Some threatened to arrest me. I was afraid when you said you were a policeman. I didn’t dare to clarify the truth to you. But if I didn’t talk to you today, I would feel bad. I practice Falun Dafa and our Master asks us to save people. I didn’t want to miss you. When I didn’t know what to do, you said that there are good people among policemen.” He laughed and said, “Indeed there are all sorts of policemen. I worked in the office.” I then clarified the truth to him in detail and helped him withdraw from the CCP.

Telling a Soldier about Dafa 

When I saw a soldier in uniform in a shopping mall I started chatting with him. I told him that my husband was in the military and was transferred to the civilian department. Quickly I switched the topic and told him about Dafa. I told him how the CCP persecutes Falun Dafa and harvests organs from practitioners while they are still alive. He didn’t know about quitting the CCP. I explained it to him and why people should withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations to stay safe. He understood and agreed to quit the CCP.

I feel so happy when I see how excited people are after they withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

My Family Helps Each Other Save People

Our entire family practices Falun Dafa and we’ve benefited a lot. We cooperate with each other and devote ourselves wholeheartedly to saving people.

A few years ago it was easy to buy mobile cards and mobile phones could be used to play the quit the CCP messages. We bought 9 mobile phones and used a certain app to automatically dial numbers to Chinese people in China and play the messages to them. We played the messages for about 6 hours each day using the 9 phones at the same time. We got 30 to 100 people to quit the CCP each day.

Every night we checked the messages and telephone numbers and called those people who had questions or wanted to quit the CCP. After we talked to them, some agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Some thanked us.

One day my husband called back a person who said he had listened to mobile audio messages but still wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa and why people should withdraw. My husband explained this to him in detail. He asked my husband to give him some time because he wanted to think about it. One week later my husband called him back. He agreed to withdraw from the CCP. He said, “The CCP is finished and hopeless. Only Falun Dafa can save people.” He expressed his thanks.

One hot summer day my husband went to a river and brought 9 phones with him. He put some mobiles on a bench and some in other places. He switched them on, opened the app, and played the audio messages. He then sat down and sent forth righteous thoughts. Suddenly he heard some noise. He felt strange and looked up where the noise came from. He found one mobile in his bicycle basket which he forgot to pick up. He hadn’t put the battery in, but it made loud noises. He realized that this mobile reminded him to switch it on so that it could play messages to Chinese people and save them. Indeed, everything has a spirit. He inserted the battery and ran the app. When we checked the mobile at night, we found many people left messages that they agreed to quit the CCP. This reinforced our belief that everything came for the Fa. The phone came to fulfill its mission. We cherished these phones very much because they offered many people opportunities to learn the truth and quit the CCP.

Thanks to Master’s compassion and protection, our family members cooperate with each other and save sentient beings wholeheartedly. Sometimes we didn’t want to go out, especially on windy days or rainy days. But when we thought of the urgency of saving people, we went out no matter how hard it was. We should do it because this is our mission.

We looked within if we came across people who cursed us or if not many people withdrew from the CCP on that day. We found that we had attachments to pursuit, being anxious, or being impatient. After we changed ourselves based on the Fa, we helped more people withdraw from the CCP.

Final Remarks

I’ve practiced Falun Dafa for 28 years and have gone through ups and downs. Our benevolent Master looks after me and protects me all the way on my cultivation path. My gratitude to Master cannot be expressed in words. If I didn’t practice Falun Dafa, I would have died long ago. I can feel peoples’ longing within their hearts and Master’s boundless compassion towards practitioners and sentient beings. In this last leg of the Fa-rectification and during the transition period of the Fa-rectifying of the human world, I will do better to be worthy of Master’s salvation. I will fulfill my mission. Thank you Master!
