(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Huang Ruhong Arrested

1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhuang Mingxia Detained

Ms. Zhuang Mingxia, 57, was arrested by officers from the Baiju Road Police Station on the morning of October 19, 2023, when she was going upstairs to visit Ms. Xiao Weiwei. She is currently detained in the Changchun City Detention Center.

When Ms. Zhuang’s husband went home that evening, he was unable to open the door because the lock was changed. The police ransacked their home while no one was at home. They also installed a surveillance camera above the door.

2. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Huang Ruhong Arrested

Mr. Huang Ruhong, 64, was arrested at his son’s home in Guangzhou City by officers from the Nancun Police Station and the Panyu District Police Department on September 20, 2023. Mr. Huang was placed under official arrest by the Panyu District Procuratorate staff on October 27, 2023. He is currently held in the Panyu District Detention Center. His wife Ms. Wei Ruihua had a stroke and was sent to a rehabilitation center. She urgently needs his care.

Mr. Huang was sentenced to three years and six months and fined 10,000 yuan by the Ruyuan County Court on December 29, 2017, for distributing truth clarifying materials in Luoyang Town, Ruyuan County.

3. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhu Lanxiu Arrested

Ms. Zhu Lanxiu, 69, has been under surveillance for a long time. She was arrested on March 24, 2023, and her home was ransacked. She was released later that day.

4. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Yunying Detained

Ms. Ma Yunying was tricked by officers from the Shaozhuang Township Police Station and went to the police station with them on October 31, 2023. She did not return home, instead, she was sent to the Shisu Township Detention Center.

5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Xiaojing Detained

Ms. Wang Xiaojing was arrested by officers in Dayi County on October 24, 2023, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. She is held in the Chengdu City Detention Center.

6. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Yuzhen Harassed

When Ms. Sun Yuzhen was going to take a train at the Laixi City Westnorth Station on June 3, 2023, to visit her son or daughter, her suitcase was searched. A few minutes later, she received a call from the Xiagezhuang Police Station and she was asked where she was going. She was told that since her household registration was in the police station, she needed to keep in touch with them.

When Ms. Sun planned to visit her child again on September 7, 2023, her suitcase was searched again in the train station. She received a call a few days later from the Xiagezhuang Police Station asking where she was.

Ms. Sun’s family received a call again from the Xiagezhuang Police Station on November 4, 2023, asking where she was. The caller demanded that she immediately come to the police station.

7. [Enping City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Yuyao Arrested

Ms. Xie Yuyao was followed by police and arrested on October 26, 2023. Her home was ransacked. It is unknown where she is detained.

8. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Lijuan Harassed

Ms. Wang Lijuan and her family have been harassed constantly by police officers and people from the Hecheng District Politic and Legal Affairs Committee since July 2023. They pressured Ms. Wang’s family to transfer their household registration to another city.

Four strangers went to Ms. Wang’s home at 7 a.m. on October 27, 2023. They pressured Ms. Wang’s husband to transfer the household registration out of the city. They threatened him and said they would call every month for the next three years if they did not comply.
