(Minghui.org) Before I began to practice Falun Dafa, I was competitive and a perfectionist. I also chased after fame and was attached to human emotions. At home, I did all the chores and anything else related to the household.
When an opportunity for my husband to grow in his career arose, I fully supported him in attending a foreign language class in the evening, even if it meant I had to take care of our child alone. I didn’t want to distract my husband from his learning even if the baby and I required constant medical attention because of our health issues. I went to all the doctor’s appointments and pharmacies by myself, trying not to distract my husband from his studies. No one could understand the suffering I endured during those years.
Dafa Saved My Family
After my husband completed his program, he got the dream job and a promotion everyone envied. But Chinese Communist Party (CCP) ideology soon started to affect him. He had mistresses and engaged in other promiscuous practices. He spent money lavishly and bought several houses. He barely spent any time caring for his family. One of his mistresses wanted to marry him and even threatened to commit suicide if I did not agree to divorce him. She eventually paid the price with her life.
During that time, I was so unhappy that I was filled with hate and became belligerent. I even attempted to end my life because of the suffering and my poor health. Those days were intolerable.
After I started to practice Falun Dafa, I followed the Fa principles closely, remained humble when presented with financial opportunities, looked within when faced with conflicts, put others’ needs before my own, and provided for my family without complaining.
To keep my in-laws from worrying and getting angry, I bottled up my sorrows and complaints and ensured my in-laws were cared for. All our relatives and friends envied and respected us.
However, my husband slandered me and Dafa in front of my in-laws. My mother-in-law believed what he said was true and criticized me. When the truth came to light, my in-laws were very moved and realized that Falun Dafa is good. My mother-in-law said to me, “You have a heart of gold.”
My father-in-law was rewarded after he praised Dafa. He fractured his hip in an accident and had to stay in bed. After reciting the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and watching the truth-clarification DVDs and a Shen Yun performance, he recovered fully in a month without any medical attention.
Falun Dafa taught me kindness, purified my mind, harmonized my family relationships, and gave me a healthy body. I feel so fortunate to cultivate Dafa at this time.
Saving Sentient Beings in the Judicial System
Dafa opened my eyes and changed me for the better. Master Li gave me so much, and there is no way for me to repay him. As a Dafa practitioner, I know my duty is to help Master rectify the Fa and save sentient beings.
I filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, the former leader of China, in 2015. After that, the police came to harass me. I saw that they did not know the law well and were persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners based on the lies the CCP fabricated.
I realized we needed to make more effort to talk about Falun Dafa with the officials in the judiciary and law enforcement. I knew that I needed to tell them how good Falun Dafa is and about the persecution, so that they would stop persecuting practitioners and protect them instead. Because of this righteous thought and with Master’s assistance, I remained steadfast despite the police harassment and arrests.
I put the letters, magazines, and other Falun Dafa informational materials into a package for each justice and law enforcement official, hoping they would quickly understand and accept the truth. I took extra care when preparing the materials. I made sure to study the Fa, send righteous thoughts, and be in a compassionate state when preparing the packages.
I want to thank Master Li for planning everything. I also want to thank the dedicated practitioners who work on the Minghui website and the Chinese practitioners who have cooperated and provided information for this project. Their truth-clarification materials possess the power of Dafa and have helped awaken many people in public safety and stopped them from persecuting Dafa practitioners.
A postal worker who had quit the CCP helped me mail the materials, so the police wanted to interview him. He was angry at me for sending the materials to the public safety officials. I told him, “The CCP lied to these people, didn’t provide evidence of any crime when they arrested us, and persecuted us. The CCP enacted a law that if any official carries out an illegal order, he will be permanently responsible. Don’t you think I should tell them the facts about Falun Dafa? You saved me twice and your kindness will soon be repaid. The public safety officials will know that I am telling the truth to save them. I hope you read the materials I sent them. The more you know, the luckier you will be.”
I also joined the phone calling project and called people to talk about Falun Dafa. With Master’s assistance and protection, I’ve escaped many dangerous situations. As long as I believe in Dafa and Master Li, study the Fa, and maintain my good character, Master gives me strength and assists me whenever the CCP tries to block my phone. The CCP tried everything they could to block my phone, but nothing they did worked.
I’ve also encountered many miracles when saving people through the project and validating Dafa. I once called a head supervisor in charge of persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners in our area. He wanted to know where I bought my SIM card. He didn’t believe me when I told him I bought it from a regular telecom carrier. With the strength provided by Master, the technology that the CCP is so proud of was useless and primitive. Isn’t this proof that gods walk among us?
