(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

8. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ma Xiuqin Harassed, Ms. Xue Lijun Missing
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. He Yongping and Ms. Wang Yafang Detained
10. [Ning’an City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cao Limin Arrested, Ms. Lu Wenge Under House Arrest

1. [Luohe City, Henan Province] Numerous Practitioners Arrested
A mass arrest of practitioners occurred in Luohe City on September 15, 2023. Ms. Ding Xiangqin and Mr. Yang Juncheng were among those arrested.
2. [Xiangyang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhao Guojiang Missing
Mr. Zhao Guojiang’s family hasn’t been able to contact him after he was arrested by Li Xuejun from the Domestic Security Division and officers from the Zhongyuan Road Police Station in October 2022.
3. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
Seven practitioners were arrested by more than ten officers on the afternoon of September 12, 2023 when they were reading Falun Gong books in a practitioner’s home. Four of them were released on bail after they were held in the Dongxing District Police Department for 24 hours. The remaining three, Mr. Tan Shuncheng, Ms. Mo Qun, and Ms. Chen Darong, refused to sign the release on bail form, and are still in police custody.
4. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Zhu Liqin Detained
Ms. Zhu Liqin was arrested on September 11, 2023 after someone reported her when she talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Kunming City Detention Center.
5. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Jinfeng Under House Arrest
Ms. Liu Jinfeng, who lives in Douzhangzhuang Township, Wuqing District, was given a year of release on bail last year. After a year passed, she submitted a Motion to Dismiss Release On Bail as well as a Motion to Dismiss. She was subsequently arrested by Quanxing Road Police Station officers and put under house arrest. Her case is in the Wuqing Procuratorate.
6. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Haiyan Arrested
Ms. Zhang Haiyan was arrested in mid-September 2023 after she visited practitioner Zhao’s home in the Aimin District. She was released the next day.
7. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhao Caixia in Police Custody
Ms. Zhao Caixia lives in Guajing Village, Liuying Town, Yongnian District. She was arrested on the evening of September 13, 2023 after someone reported her for distributing Falun Gong flyers in Duanzhuang Village. She is being held in the Yongnian Domestic Security Division.
8. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ma Xiuqin Harassed, Ms. Xue Lijun Missing
Ms. Ma Xiuqin, 84, was harassed by local police officers and community clerks on September 14 2023. They claimed someone reported her for putting Falun Gong flyers in bicycle baskets. They searched her home, seized anything related to Falun Gong, threatened to sentence her to two years in prison, and forced her to sign their forms.
Ms. Xue Lijun of Mian County disappeared for more than ten days. Someone who lives in her community said officers from the local police station came to her home and abducted her.
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. He Yongping and Ms. Wang Yafang Detained
Ms. He Yongping and Ms. Wang Yafang of Dehui City were arrested at home on September 12, 2023. They were detained for 15 days and were released on September 26, 2023.
10. [Ning’an City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cao Limin Arrested, Ms. Lu Wenge Under House Arrest
Ms. Cao Limin, 70, was arrested at home on September 12, 2023. The Dongjingcheng Town Forestry Police pried her door open and ransacked the place. She was released the same day because she did not pass the physical exam.
Ms. Lu Wenge, 57, was arrested on September 14, 2023 by officers from the Dongjingcheng Police Station after someone reported her when she talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The officers took her to the Forestry Police. She was put under house arrest and released that day.
11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Hui Released
Ms. Ma Hui was arrested by Beijing Street Police Station officers on September 19, 2019. The officers ransacked her home and took her to the Dalian Detention Center the next day. She was charged by Xigang District Procuratorate prosecutors around November 2019, sentenced to four years in prison, and incarcerated in the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison. She was released on September 18, 2023.
